I have a June 1st-2nd at Contemporary through CM discount still showing up, along with the fps. If there are more reports of cancellations and I don't get an email I'll just call and ask

Is it actually canceled and gone from MDE? Or was it the "your reservation is impacted by the closure" email?

So sad! Ours for end of June is still showing up for now- but Im sure it will be cancelled soon as well

Disney World is cancelling one week at a time so if they do a round of cancellations in the next day or two it will be for first week of June. If you're end of June you won't see cancellation for a few more weeks.

Can you please share what you received and if there were any offers?

There was no offer in the cancellation email , such as the Free Disney Dining that was previously out there. This was part RSR/part cash room-only reservation. The reservation has disappeared from MDE.

Alright, was on hold for 20 minutes but got a very pleasant and chatty CM
She said my June 1-2 Contemporary resort reservations looks good, no cancellations so far for June.
She was puzzled when I said some people started getting emails already, she double checked and said everything on her end said no cancellations yet
I asked if I had the possibility of changing dates in June if it does eventually cancel, she said no changes for June can be done at this time
I asked if maybe they are consolidating resorts and only having a few open, she said that is something being discussed and because they are opening in phases that's why they stopped taking reservations for June because they are at capacity.

I called as well. I was worried after reading about the Poly cancellation, plus villains cancellations. I am booked for GF last week of June. Didn’t buy park tickets. We decided to do 2 villains parties instead. So now I have no tickets. She said nothing for June has been canceled yet as far as resort reservations. She said they are waiting word from the governor (maybe the phase 2?) and that my dates look hopeful. She said when or if they announce a June opening I would be able to add park tickets. Again, we know this isn’t Gospel.

The reason I asked earlier if it was paid in full is because I check in 8 days later than yours was and I have to have it paid in full 8 days from today. From what I gather, they are cancelling any ressie that isn't PIF on the date. I think they are cancelling those not PIF to lower the capacity either for when it opens or so they don't have to do so many every week.

We have June 1st at CSR then June 2-8 at Kidani. No emails on either and they both still are on MDE. (along w FP, dining, etc)

I haven’t paid it b/c I don’t want to play the game of waiting on Disney to refund my money. I booked a room only for that reason. So are you saying that I’m more at risk of being cancelled then someone else who has already PIF?

I know you’re getting peppered with questions, but can you tell is how how long ago you booked?

I also thought for some people they were able to wait until 7 days prior to check in if they have packages booked. Maybe I misread that too?

I googled it and it seems to be a package code. Wondering if it's through a travel agency.

PIF for packages. Room only does not have a PIF date. That is what makes me wonder about the Poly cancellation. Part of it was cash ressie but the other part wasn't. IF that part wasn't PIF by today (with the date given) then it would be cancelled.

Re: the RSR code - Resort Special Reservation. This type of reservation does not have a PIF date and the cash days actually cannot be PIF prior to arrival. As far as the question of who it was booked with and when, it was booked directly with the RSR department right at a year ago.
