Hello All
Happy New Year!!!!

I know I have seen lists for essential items. Can anyone tell me where to find it or give me some of your must have items.
Items that can't live without. I would love to have something to check off before I go.

Thank you

Croakies - cords attached to your glasses that go around your neck. Helps me feel secure when riding on Rock N Rollercoaster!
Waterbabies rollon sun screen - small size fits just right
small journal & pen - helps me to relive my previous trips.

This is my personal list that is on my bathroom mirror and in my car! I used the Ultimate Packing List and then some of my own. the UPL is very redundant (sp?) I'm sure I'm missing something!!!

Great list....I am tired just reading it. Guess I better get crackin' we leave in (not even!) 2 weeks!

I read this one on another thread and I thought it was a good idea:

If you are bringing a video camera, bring the cleaner for it.

Also, we are going in April and I do not want to pay the price for the mister fans in the parks (around $17 I think). I am bringing ones that I bought from Walmart.

I'm worn out reading that list! In addition to clothing we include:
small bag w/blunt ended manicure scissors, moleskin, emeryboard for foot care in the parks;
ziplock bag with camera and film;
medical bag with ibuprofen, immodium, sinus meds and motion sickness pills, vitamins (all in film cannisters to minimize space/weight);
ponchos, glo-in-the-dark necklaces for evening parades (check the dollar store), ziplock with hand-towel for drying seats;
spray-on antiperspirant for feet so they don't sweat and blister;
park snacks (we find chewy granola bars and fruit snacks- the gummy ones- work best);
Bathroom Bag: to minimize luggage (both space and weight), get small squeeze bottles from wal-mart (about 50 cents each) for shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, etc. Also bring laundry tablets and dryer sheets if you'll be doing laundry. Buy travel-sized tube of toothpaste, waterbabies sunscreen stick, chapstick with sun protection.
BRING PLENTY OF ZIPLOCK BAGS- keep anything you want to keep dry in your backpack in them. Drinks, snacks, etc. are easier to find in backpacks if they are in see-thru bags.
Check with hotel- many include hairdryers in the baathroom.

Of course, I went on one trip with three days' worth of clothes, toothbrush, hairbrush, makeup, backpack and credit card. I was great, just bought what I needed in FL! Walgreens, Krogers, Albertsons are all cheap, and wal-mart is just a few miles down 192 east of the parks if you forget anything MAJOR!! I'd rather travel light and easy and make do with what I have. Can't stand multiple heavy suitcases!

GOSH,

I DONT LEAVE FOR ANOTHER 12 DAYS BUT AFTER SEEING EVERYONE LISTS, I BETTER START PACKING NOW!!!!!!!

HERE IS ANOTHER SUGGESTION: FOR EVERYONE WHO WEAR CONTACTS.......BRING AN EXTRA PAIR!!!!!!!!

LAH

I always bring a a small ziploc with extra meds (of each kind) in my fanny pack. I pack chewable versions (or small dropper kind for babies) of children's meds. It does not do any good to have tylenol in the room if your child gets an earche or fever in the MK!!! I had that happen!

Bring something to block out noise in your room . I used to use a humidifier, but we now have a cooler that plugs in and it does just as well.

if you have kiddies - may I suggest anti-bacterial hand sanitizer?

heck, even I carry it around.

oh - and a waterproof purse or backpack. Yeah - no leather. I usually hunt for small enough ones that will fit my pass, wallet and camera...I like nylon ones - keeps most of what's INSIDE my purse dry on splash mountain!

I always like to bring a fanny pack for my niece to keep her quarters, pennies, and autograph book and pen. Saves me the trouble of pulling it out everytime she needs it.

Where can I get fanny packs for kids? Anyone know? I checked Target and no luck.

My youngest son is very petite... He's 13 but wears a 10 slim. He wears an adult fanny pack and ties on of the straps in a knot in the end closest to the fanny pack. Works great and he even did this when he wore a size 7. Hope this helps alittle.. OH YEAH Check at Walmart they have fanny packs that adjust small because my friend showed me her daughters and I let my son try it on and it fit..

I found that it is good to bring a small back pack(it must be a backpack cause I like to have my hands free especially in Epcot. I have a small Pooh and Friends backpack that I bought on my last trip, which I plan on bringing when I got in Feb. 2004. Also good suggestion on the foot care, my feet got so blistered and sore my first trip that I will never leave home without some bandaids, an emery board, some foot refreshing cream or spray, and a good pair of walking shoes, no sandles, they tend to hurt.

A few things that you should bring, if you are a gum chewer pack gum it is not sold at all on property. Also I have found that a nightlight always comes in handy. ::MickeyMo princess:
