Ohhh thank you :) I'll go there some time next week.

Yay!! More Disers adopting the LGMHPC tradition!! Its probably the best way to identify each other at Disney.

rsjj ... you were at Disneyland today?? Lucky you!! I've never been there but would like to see it one day. The person you saw at DL with the LGMHPC would've been a good candidate for the "lime look" LOL

crzyeeyoreangel ... you're welcome for the link. Well, since we're not staying at POP, I'll just have to check the folks standing in line for the POP buses when we arrive and leave the parks to see if I spot any of you. :magnify:

Disneyfan71 ... you haven't made any changes to your trip today, have you?? (I'm just teasing - I've been having fun reading your PTR) Maybe by April you guys will be staying at POFQ??

When you go to Home Depot, go to the paint dept. and you'll see a pretty good sized display of Disney colored paints. They have all different Disney colors and the paint chips (color samples) are little square cards with mickey mouse ears on them and the mouse ears are in all the different shades of paint. The "official" Disboard color is "alien green" - there's a few other shades of lime green that aren't quite the same. Some people also cut their own mickey heads out of lime green construction paper, or they'll scan a LGMHPC and print some up, etc.

Thanks for the heads up!!! I'll be going soon

you're right...except i completely forgot about the "lime look"!! i think i was just so excited to actually see someone w/the lgmhpc. and debating in my head whether to go say hello or not!

anyways...let me know if you plan on heading out to the west coast some day. i can send you some maps or answer any questions or whatever...:flower:

we are celebrating our anniversary!! woo hoo!! i don't know how you can stand keeping such a grand thing!! what other surprises do you have in store?! do tell...:flower:

OMG!!!! Well, I found a company in the Orlando area (not sure if I can post name), but anyways they do magical surprises in the parks or resorts. I am setting it up right now. These wonderful people plan extraordinary events for bdays, anniversaries, weddings, engagements or just whatever. You might be in the middle of a ride and bam there is gift for you! Or they might do a scavenger hunt throught the park, send you on a chase for something spectacular in the end. Who knows what might happen! Anyways, it is a little pricey I might say, but those who have part taken in this event have nothing but great responses. I have also booked a room in the Contemporary Tower overlooking the Magic Kingdom. Dinner planned for at the California Grill. Geez! I keep trying to add more things. Anyone have any other suggestions please respond. Thanks

My husband is handicapped, injured on the job as a police officer. It has been 4 years since his accident, he is young still full of life, but the body doesn't give him any peace at all. So I want his day to be care free, full of life, unbelievably let loose in an area that will bring him back to his childhood.....the biggest love of his life for fun......Walt Disney World! Not trying to make anyone feel sorry for him cause that is not what we do. We are the kind of couple who makes jokes, laughs and attempts to make light of situations.

But OMG the fact that I can't tell my husband we are going to WDW is just overwhelming. He is going to FREAK out! We are going for Thanksgiving too with our friends who are joining us this April. But he knows about that one. Urrrghhhh!!!

I'm new to the boards so I can't PM yet. We're taking DS10 and DD7 to WDW for their 1st time April 18-25 and staying at CS. I'm very excited!

Hi! You've been added!! Its soooo exciting taking kids for the first time!
:jumping1:

Welcome to the boards!! :disrocks:

LOL yeah I know what you mean, plus the lime look doesn't seem to be as widespread amongst Disers as the lime green mickeys do. And definitely some times I've held off acknowledging LGMHs if the person was doing something or talking, etc. Its most convenient when you spy other LGMHs when they're waiting in the same line as you. One morning at breakfast at POFQ someone noticed my LGMH on my purse and she waited for the opportunity to say hello from her table. We chatted a bit and talked about the other Disers we had both run into. :)

Thanks for the offer about Disneyland! We have friends and relatives in San Diego and I'm sure eventually we'll make it to the west coast!! I wouldn't even know where to begin planning a DL vacation!!

Scrufsmom - I sent you a (long lol sorry) PM. It's awesome all of the surprises you have in store for your DH!!!! And it sounds like you're having fun planning it, too! You have to take lots a of pics and do a trip report!!!!

Very sorry to hear about your DH being injured on duty...I've been working at a police dept. for several years and have known officers who have gone through the same thing. Its a really hard thing to deal with. Like I said in my PM, I believe police officers and firemen should be the ones making millions of dollars, not sports figures and actors!!! How can you put a price on someone risking their lives every day when they go to work???::cop:

Tiki,

Thanks alot for the response. I too posted in a PM to you, not as long, but I totally understand you comments. This has been way too hard to plan and with my DH on my shoulders watchinig my every move it is sooooo diffilcult. He is worse then a 12 years old, in fact.....he is a 12 year old! LOL God love him! You know those WDW commercials where the parents are more excited then the kids? Well, they used him as the ginea pig. LOLx4

Oh well, keep everyone laughing.

wow...you have many wonderful surprises planned!! the company you mentioned, and what they do...reminded me of a movie that michael douglas was in. can't remember the name of the movie, but his brother (i think sean penn?) got this birthday gift for him...anyways, your DH is a very lucky man! i'm sorry to hear about his accident. but he is very blessed to have you!!

i think if i had to keep all that a secret from my DH, i would just burst!! :flower:

The movie you're referring to is The Game. I love that movie!! Actually, I love Michael Douglas!! *sigh* And yeah, his brother is Sean Penn in the movie.

Thank you very much. The movie you are thinking about is called The Game. I saw it and in fact my DH makes me watch it each time it is one TV. He loves that movie! But yes, it is similiar to the movie except that I am not trying to kill him in the process! LOL Just wanna have fun.

Oh my gosh, I just can count. I don't think I have enought toes and fingers to do it. LOL I just know I got three months to go myself. This is going to get the best of me. I just know that my DH is going to figure out things. He has already started to freak out over my rewards points missing from our card. YIKES!!!! Before I know it he'll have figured it out and the surpise will be out in the open. I can't stand not telling him. Okay, I am calm. LOL LOL:lmao:

Hello, I just booked a Pop for 4/12 to 4/17. Easter week. Am I crazy? :rotfl2: I got a pin I couldn't pass up.
