Friday 30th December

My carefully prepared itinerary had Animal Kingdom down for today but 'the peasants' (lightweights all of them no stamina whatsoever!) revolted when we got back to the hotel the evening before and demanded a lie in. Eventually I admitted defeat and agreed that as we had a very long New Years Eve scheduled at MK for the next day it was probably a good idea.

We slept in till 10 then took a drive over to Sizzler for our first ever 'all you can eat buffet breakfast'. DH has been wanting to try one since our first trip but we've just never got around to going and took it as a personal challenge to try everything on offer. We definately got our $23 dollars worth. They practically had to roll us back to the car :rotfl:

Then it was off to Florida Mall to walk off all that breakfast and stock up on enough Yankee Candles/Clinique/perfume etc to last me till next Christmas. DD also stopped in at a nail shop and had her nails done.

We got to Downtown Disney early afternoon to find Disney Quest the busiest we have ever seen it. DH & DS were in boy heaven DD & I used the opportunity to log onto DIS and catch up on some e-mails over a huge slice of cheesecake. We didn't stay that long as it was just too busy really and as DS is still quite small people kept shoving him out of the way to get onto the games in front of him even though he had been waiting patiently. He was getting really fed up so we decided to go.

We had a stroll around Market Place and called in at the Lego shop where DS spent a small fortune on Star Wars toys & other bits and pieces and stopped off at the Virgin megastore where we spent ages stocking up on CD's.

As nobody was particularly hungry after the huge breakfast and cheesecake lunch we decided to go back to the hotel to spend the evening relaxing in the room with some reality TV and a shared pizza from the hotel food court. Then a good early night ready for New Years Eve in MK :Pinkbounc

Hope the troops stick to the plan tomorrow!

Sounds fantastic ~ Thanx for sharing.

I like a couple of days where it just 'happens' despite been a compulsive planner, I say if I plan it at least I know which day/park I missed out on!
