Linking three separate reservations?

Maybe linking is not the right word here, but our party of 6 will be in three studios during our December trip. Same dates for everyone. We are all using my points, but the names on the reservations are the names of the people staying in each room. Can I have these reservations somehow connected to show we are traveling together, or just have all of us make the same requests during online check-in? It would be nice for all of us to at least be in the same building (we are at PVB).

Also, I'm a little confused as to how to work My Disney Experience Experience this way. Can I move all three reservations into my MDE account and make FP's for everyone, or does each party need to control their own FP?

The other two parties are my two adult sons and their gf's, so no one would have a problem with me taking care of it all.

Thank you!

Call MS and ask that "Traveling With" be noted for all three of the reservations. Then if you decide to do online check-in, make sure EVERYONE totally skips the section on requests. If anything is checked or typed on that screen, it will override anything MS notes. AFAIK, "traveling with" or "near" is not an option for online check-in and unless something has recently changed, there is no "free-form" available for you to be specific. So call MS.

Can't specifically answer you reservation or FP+ questions, but I believe there is a way to do what you propose. You might post the question over on the theme parks board. There are lots of FP+ knowledgeable posters on that board.

If your son's or their wives have set up their own MDE accounts, then you will need to "friend" them to make FPs for them. However, you cannot friend the young children. Only the parents can make the FP+ for the children in that case. If you add everyone to your MDE family and link their reservations and tickets, you would be in control of everyone FP+ and ADRs.

We recently took an extended family trip and had four rooms. A 2BR and three studios. I made the reservations using our points for all four rooms. When I made the reservation, I indicated we were traveling together. I called back about 3 weeks prior to our trip and just double checked to make sure the only request was that we were traveling together. We were at Kidani and our rooms ended up being all on the same floor and the rooms were between 7750 and 7730, so they were fairly close. We were pleased with that.

As far as MDE, we could see everyone's fast passes and they could see ours once we all were friends/family with each other. We did have one problem with making fast passes that sometimes we couldn't see them all. I called and got a wonderful CM at the FP help number. She spent probably 30 minutes on the phone with me and got it to where I could even make fast passes for all 19 in our party. While we were there, both the new Soarin' and Frozen Ever After rides were opening up and instead of all four families trying to coordinate our Fast Passes - I was able to check all 19 of us on MDE and get FP+ for the entire party. I'm not sure I would have been able to make it for all 19 if I hadn't called and gotten that CMs help.
