Linking reservations

So my little family of 4 has a package reservation starting on Jan 4. My parents just booked a reservation starting on the 7, same resort as us. Can I link our reservations together? Would I be able to make fastpasses for them?

If you add them to your "Family and Friends" list, you'll be able to make FPs for them.

I'm not in exactly the same situation, but my mother in law decided to go for the same dates as us. I added her confirmation number to my MDE account and I was able to book all our fast passes together. Good luck!

Thanks! Is there a way to link the reservations or how do I add them to my friends list?

My MIL does not have internet access, so she does not have MDE at all. I simply linked her reservation number on my account. Now my acct shows both my reservation and hers. I also added her to my friend and family list (I did this before the site changed, so I'm not sure where to do it on the updated site). We did online check in for our reservation, but not for hers. Doesn't seem to be an issue. I even personalized her magic band and it will be sent to our house, as all 3 of us are flying out together from here. Now she doesn't have to get a gray band when she arrives. She also got 1 less day of park tickets than we did, and I had no issue when doing all of our fastpasses. Each day I chose the people in the fastpass party, it was almost too easy. Lol.

If you are trying to get your rooms close to each other, you both need to contact Disney Reservation Center and ask for "traveling with" to be added to both your reservations with the other reservation number added. So 'Traveling With 123456789000"

We both booked with travel agents, do our agents need to do this? Also my parents are arriving about 3 days after we are does that make a difference?

Each travel agent will need to add this to the reservation. BUT since you are not arriving on the same day, it might not work out. Wouldn't hurt to try, though.
