Linking family members on MDE and FP+

I stayed up the other night to make FP+ for my party of 9. We got:
PP 9:20-10:20
SDMT 10:20-11:20
SM 11:20-12:20

Then my I tried to link with my sister's family, but could only see my brother in law - not my sister and the kids. Actually I can see them but they are in "grey" not color, and I don't seem to be able to include them in my plans. I copied my BIL on my FPs and he was given a 10:10-11:10 slot for 7DMT. My sister was able to copy BIL's FPs for her and the kids - she was given 10:05-11:05.

Now my aunt and uncle wanted to link. Again, I could only see my aunt, even though we are linked. I copied my aunt to my FPs, she got the 10:05-11:05 slot. She had to copy my uncle, since I can't see him, and he got 9:55-10:55.

I am confused because I didn't think your FP slots were supposed to overlap, and since we all have the PP FP+, some of the 7DMT times are within that same hour. Does that seem right? It not a big deal to us because we can all go at 10:20, it just seems strange. And frankly, I wish we ALL had those earlier times!

Also - does anyone know why I can't see/make FPs for the other people in the parties that I am linked to? Thanks for any help.

I am interested in the answer to this question as well. Still in the early stages of planning, but my sisters family would like to join us on our MK & AK days. I'm hoping to be able to get some similar ride times so we can all ride together.
