Linked Park Hoppers

I have a 6 day park hopper that my mom didn't use. It's linked to her Magic Band. I want to use it next month and upgrade it to a no-expiration ticket. Since it's linked in her name will I be able to use it?

I tried calling Disney but all the lines have been busy for quite a while.

If the ticket is truly unused, you should be able to reassign it in MDE to someone else (yourself or someone in your family & friends list).
