Linked Family and Friends

Hi! Longtime reader, first time poster....

My family has been to WDW several times but in May we will be traveling with another family for the first time. I have linked up our two reservations but I have two main questions: Will our dining plan credits be linked to our family/friends (i.e. will they be able to use our credits and vice versa) and if I link a credit card to my magic band so that I can make purchases with the band will my family/friends have access to that? I assume the answer is "no" to both of these questions but I thought it would be good to check with the experts.

They would only have access to your dining plan credits and room charge account if they were staying in the same room with you.

If they were in the same room, the front desk can set it up so that room charges are split to different credit cards.
