Awesome about La Nouba. I've never seen it, you'll have to let us all know how it is. Cute duffle bags!!!

We love La Nouba! This will be our 3rd time seeing it. We haven't been since 2007 and I know they did change at least one part, so I'm looking forward to seeing it again!

Thanks! I love my bags! I have a Hello Kitty one, too, that I might bring to use for souvenirs or something.

I am sitting here so insanely bored at work that I started going through the menus of all of the TS places we have ADRs for. It got me thinking about a new list of sorts. So what I did, was write down all of the items I think I would order, and when we come back, I will compare that list to what I actually got.
Before I get to that, however, I noticed that there have either been more changes to our itinerary since I last posted an updated, or I missed some things. So here is the up-to-date itinerary, followed by my food selections.

What I Think I'll Order :goodvibes
These are based on the menus that are provided on WDWInfo. The Disney website has more up-to-date information but I can't access that site from my work computer because we are still running on IE 6 and the Disney site needs IE 8 or equivalent. :sad2:

In most cases, there were several items on the menu that I would debate between. Knowing how I am, I picked the items that I think I would be most likely to choose once I'm actually there. We'll see how well I know myself! :rotfl2:

Paradiso 37:
The recommendations I have received say that we should just get a few appetizers to share instead of getting actual entrees. These are the ones I think we are most likely to try.

Argentinean Chorizo Skewers - Authentically prepared Chorizo Sausage seasoned with Argentinean Spices. Served with Cucumber and Onion Salad. Citrus Yogurt Sauce and Chimichurri Pita Bread
Caribbean crab and Fish Fritters - Crab Meat, shrimp,Fish, Peppers and Cilantro Fritters. Fried to a golden brown, Serve with a coconut lime dipping sauce
Central American Crazy Corn - Fire Roasted Corn on the cob topped with a Spicy yellow pepper sauce and chef's special cheeses
Chili Con Carne - Slow Cooked Tender Ground Beef with Onions, Peppers, and Chiles. Topped with Chef's Special cheeses and served with Corn Tortilla Chips

Grand Floridian Café:
Maple-Vanilla French Toast - Challah Bread dipped in maple vanilla flavored batter with sausage

50’s Prime Time Café:
Uncle Charlie's Grilled Tuna Casserole - Classic creamy casserole with egg noodles, peppers, mushrooms, onions, carrots, and celery topped with grilled tuna steak and crunchy bread crumbs.

Yak & Yeti:
Appetizer:
Pork Pot Stickers - Pan seared or steamed with soy lime dipping sauce

Entree:
Sweet & Sour Chicken or Pork - Tempura chicken or pork, ginger, garlic, bell peppers, and pineapple

Kona Café:
This one is a no-brainer!
Tonga Toast - Banana-stuffed sourdough bread, rolled in cinnamon sugar with your choice of ham, bacon or sausage

Cape May Café:
This one is a buffet but I just included the items I am most likely to get.
Goofy's Beach Club Adult Character Breakfast Buffet - Scrambled eggs, French toast, Mickey waffles, sausage, seasoned potatoes, bread pudding with vanilla sauce, danish, Bagels and juice.

Sci Fi:
Smoked Baby Back Ribs - Basted with BBQ sauce served with French fries and coleslaw
(Can anyone tell me why the ribs cost $21.99 at dinner but only $18.99 at lunch? :confused3 )

Biergarten:
Again, another buffet so I just picked what I am most likely to pick from it.
Oktoberfest Adult Dinner Buffet - Traditional sausages, Rotisserie chicken, Roasted pork, Fish, Potatoes, Spaetzle, Schnitzel, Apple Strudel, and Bavarian Cheesecake

T-Rex:
Appetizer:
Colosso Nachos - Seasoned beef, pico de gallo, black beans, green onions, cheddar cheese, queso sauce and sour cream

Entree:
Layers of Earth Lasagna - Fresh pasta layered with homemade tomato ad meat sauce, ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan cheese

Tusker House:
Character Breakfast Buffet. - bagels, scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, and French toast

Jiko:
Appetizer:
Taste of Africa - Trio of dips with assorted breads and house made Naan

Entree:
Spice Crusted Tuna - With toasted Pearl pasta salad, and lemon-mint Creme Fraiche

Ohana:
Since dinner is served family style, I can't really "pick" anything. So we'll skip this one :goodvibes

The Wave:
French Toast - Multigrain French Toast with Fruit compote and pork sausage.

I LOVE looking at the Disney menus! :rotfl: All your choices look great! I think I already know what I want from most of the places I'm going too! :)

It's funny when I see people on the DIS complaining about having to make their ADRs 180 days in advance because they "don't know what they'll want to eat that far in advance." And here I am, perusing menu's the day I book my trip, creating a countdown until the day I can make my ADRs because not only do I know where I want to eat, but I know what I'm going to order when I get there! :rotfl2:

:lmao: I'm in your camp as far as the "how can you not have an idea of what you'd want" thing. My trip next year (November '11) already has all the ADRs set :lmao:

I love your itinerary, though! :yay:

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I can't be THAT crazy if there are others that agree with me, right?! :rotfl2:

I haven't even booked a trip for 2011, (I also haven't even confirmed that a trip will be happening in 2011...:rolleyes1) but I have most of my ADRs planned too!

oh, your list of what you are gonna eat is making me hungry. It must be dinner time!!!

Obviously, those dates are for 2011, but Google Docs put them as 2010 for some reason.

I keep forgetting you are on the West Coast! It's 20 after 11 here in CT so when I read your post I was like "wow she eats late!" :rotfl2: I made a new chicken recipe tonight....it was OK...needs some tweaking, but it served it's purpose!

:lmao: ok now you're giving me ideas that I don't need to have!

Well, to be fair, that was originally our spreadsheet for January... I just changed it around for November and a longer trip :lmao:

I always look over the menus to the restaurants like there's going to be a test some day, and I want to get an A. So I know the menu front and back left to right, top to bottom.

And you know...I still sit there at the restaurant and read it over trying to make a decision... I can never really commit to anything. Do I get the steak I know will be great or do I try something new? Oh the decisions! :rotfl2:

Well, in all honesty...it was late. I got home late from work..and everyone wanted me to come up with dinner. UG! 20 year olds should be able to figure it out themselves. (I think) So after being tired, and hungry...I deemed it a sandwich night. :)

I always make the mistake of looking at the Disney menus when it's almost lunch time and I'm really hungry. Everything you chose looks goooooood! :thumbsup2

I do too! I look at them when I'm bored....which is why I end up changing my itinerary 400 times! Although I'm usually pretty good once we actually get to the restaurant. Most times, I pick a restaurant based on what I want to eat so I know what I want when I get there. The plan is to try and get my food ASAP but Lumar dawdles and sits there checking his Twitter, or his Facebook, or his email, instead of looking at the menu. And then the server comes over and he's not ready so I end up having to wait anyway. :sad2:

I'm 27 and still can't decide on what I want to eat for dinner. I can plan 3 meals a day, 180 days in advance, for WDW....but if it's not Taco Night, I have no idea what I'm making for dinner until I'm standing in front of the stove. Although a couple weeks ago I pulled some frozen chicken tenders out of the freezer and baked them, along with a loaf of Pepperidge Farm mozzarella garlic bread, then put the chicken on the bread with some pasta sauce and VIOLA! Instant chicken parm grinder! I remade it one night last week with actual real chicken breasts (coated with panko) and it was much better....but it's an idea for something quick and easy!

I was STARVING by the time I finished that list yesterday! It's funny how if I sit here and think about going home to eat dinner, it doesn't have the same effect as thinking about eating while in WDW. Disney just makes everything better!

I keep daydreaming about Ohana's and the sundaes at Beaches and Cream...

I'm going to try really hard to remember to take pics of all of my food and snacks this year! I'm usually so hungry that I forget but I'm making it a point to remember for this trip! That way I can continue to oogle after we get home! :rotfl2:
