link to check DVC reservation

Hi,

I think it was yesterday someone posted the link to log in to check your DVC reservation. We are renting pts and are waitlisted so I would like to be able to check periodically to see if our waitlist came through. I bookmarked the page but now when I go back to it...it is taking me to the regular disney vacation page. Could anyone please post that link again. I would be really grateful.

The DVC website for that type of information is available only to Members. You have to be given a pin when you buy points to use their website.

It does work if I go right from the link. If I refresh it goes back to disneyworld.com. It just takes me to the page where I can check on my reservation. I can't access anything else. Thanks again. I hoping to check and one day my reservation will say Beach Club Villa....woo hoo... hoping for that waitlist.

If the owner you are renting from wait listed for a different resort, that reservation will have a different confirmation number if the wait list comes thru.

So if I check with my confirmation number and my waitlist has come through..will it tell me my confirmation number is invalid?

Yes, or something to that effect.

You will have to get the new confirmation number from the owner, but he/she will be able to look on the members' website to get that for you. Sometimes it takes a while (7-10 working days) to get the new snail mail confirmation letter.


P.S. OOPS! Didn't notice that this is an old thread. The OP's vacation has long been over, LOL. Hope her waitlist came through.

Ah...OK. I'm on MAC.
It doesn't work for me on Chrome or Safari.
I did get it to work on Firefox though.

I have been having the same problem from my Mac as well when I am in Safari.

Thanks, I have a rental for Oct 2010 and I was able to acces my add-on.

Vacation not over ..just a couple months to go. Thanks everyone! Oh and just so you don't panic like I did. If you waitlist comes through...mine did....and you put in your current confirmation number...you will receive a message that the reservation has been cancelled....which of course sent me into a panic until I checked my cell and my friend who I rented from called and left a message saying our waitlist came through and here is your new confirmation number


So anyway..good luck to everyone. I will be staying at BCV for food and wine
