Line for 10:15 WOC Show??

I'm starting to get a little cross-eyed digging through all the WOC threads, and I still need a little help. I have preferred dining reservations for the second show, and I'm wondering if the line procedure is the same as the first show. Where's the holding pen/area and what time should my group get there?

Hopefully someone who has actually done the 10:15 Preferred Dining can chime in ...

Last night a CM at the WOC entrance said that the line for the preferred dining (10:15pm show) is near the Water Wheel area.

Here's a photo of the Water Wheel:

And here's what a CM at the Water Wheel told me last night:

On the right side in the next photo, you can see a brown pole and a black lamp, which is apparently where the front of the line for the preferred dining (10:15 show) starts (opposite the San Francisco bathrooms):

Last night at 9:45 a "Wall of People" started moving from the Water Wheel toward the WOC viewing area (for the 10:15pm show) -- it was quite a stampede.

There's still a good deal of confusion with the WOC lines, so I would double-check this with as many CMs as possible.

We did the preferred dining for the 10.15 show last week. We had dinner reservations at Ariel's Grotto at 7.20, and were done with dinner at 8.30. We were given fastpasses that told us we should meet at the Redwood Trail (I think that's right, not 100% sure) between 9.00 and 9.30.

We had to ask a bunch of different cast members where to go - there still seems to be a lot of confusion. The first cast member simply told us "oh I have no idea, good luck!" Mighty helpful!

We finally got directed to an area right by the beginning of the Redwood Trail - but it was more to the left of the trail, right by a churros cart. There was actually another group meeting in the EXACT SAME PLACE!!! I think it was the red fastpass group, and it made it very confusing! We arrived at 8.45 and there were only two other families in front of us. By 9.00 though, there were quite a few more people in line, and by 9.30 it was packed.

We were told that the area to meet for the preferred dining differs every night.

we did this last sunday, and we lined up at that wheel, we got there at like 9:20 and were about 30 people back in line, we got great spots right up against the railing. have fun!!
