We didn't this time around- because we had a 3 year old and waiting one more cycle for a little better view could have ended in a meltdown. You are on borrowed time with a little kid when it comes to lines .

But I have done it before and never had an issue with CM's. They just ask you stand in a certain spot and then bring someone else into your spot.

Yep! I did this for Everest. A word of caution- you cannot ask for front in single rider line at Everest. (At least, you couldn't when I tried in February.) You need to go through the standby line with everyone else.

That is true re: Rock 'n Roller Coaster (you can't request front row in the single rider line). Heard a CM explaining that the purpose of the single rider line is to fill in spots, and you get to ride sooner for that reason.
