Hi Lindsey, I don't post much on here but I am the "other bride" who wanted Randy that day. No hard feelings. We moved up our date by one week and were able to book Randy. I had to laugh reading through your journal because that aa dress was one I considered, and we are doing cornflower blue. I also have already had my engagement photo shoot with randy and I am dying to get the back. I"m also worried about them because, like you, I chose to wear my hair down and it was a mess by the time we had pictures.

OOOOHHHH NOOOOO!!!!!! I'm sorry!!! But I'm very happy that you moved your date up... for several reason: 1. You get to have Randy too! and 2. Now I don't have to worry about you wanting the same WP time as me!!

And don't worry. We will not be doing cornflower (except maybe for Caryn since she doesn't like it and clearly doesn't know how to behave..) BM Mary had us pick AA dresses in the color indigo (which is in between cornflower and royal blue) and one of the girls picked "our" dress and it's lovely. I'll post a pic for you after the wedding. The indigo color is really nice.

I have decided that Randy will make my pictures wonderful even though it was gale force winds outside... I'm sure yours will be great too!! Do you have a PJ?

No, I only have one on a different board that is a members only board. It's a great group of girls and we love new members if you are interested.
When I first joined this board, one of the first trs i was reading had to end because a family member was reading and it caused a lot of problems for the bride. since them I am very nervous about posting personal stuff on a public forum. We are going for a different time all together. We want a 2:30 ceremony at the wp, followed by reception at the gf and dessert party in UK. Since I won't be your MIL (I'm Caryn's MIL, 1 Craig girl at a time!), I feel free to butt in on several issues.

First, get married wherever you and Chris like best. You'll remember it all your life. Be happy! Second, the dress Caryn posted is absolutely gorgeous. (Just be sure to order hers in persimmon if she gives you any problems!) Third, whether you & Chris see each other before the wedding is a personal decision you two should make. Fourth, don't worry about what to feed your guests - cocktail food or dinner. Everyone will be so happy that we won't care! As long as there's wine, that is.

Finally, if Chris has to chill out somewhere while you're getting ready, I'm putting in my bid NOW. I love him to death and will be happy to buy him a drink while we wait around. How much trouble could we get in, anyway?

Finally, I was given orders by Mark (my son, Caryn's DH). I'm not allowed to wear the same dress to your wedding that I wore to theirs because "everyone will remember it, Mom!" Luckily I have this great pantsuit I can wear. Did I mention it's periwinkle?

Megan, I'm sorry things didn't work out, but it gets better. Meanwhile concentrate on helping Caryn drive Lindsay nuts - oops, I mean help her plan the wedding. Meanwhile I'll work on getting Dr. Jayne to bring the "white picture" to Texas next trip so Mark can help me post it here.

Now, thinking about this post, do you think that spending time by the pool is what we need to be doing? No.

Engagement pics were today and they were lovely. I will do a longer post about them later, but right now Rock of Love 2 is on and I'm being reprimanded for not watching.

OK so i just bought this fabulous bikini that has NO straps .. its one of those tube top bikini top things .. i got it on sale at victorias secret. nothing heals a broken heart like a shopping spree on pay day!!!!! so i can sit by the pool AND not anger people .. and if not .. shoot .. ill just have some lemonade!!!!

Sorry It Took So Long To Get Back To You, My Guests Actually Liked The Idea Of A Cocktail Party With Cocktail Food, It Made It Very Relaxed, And Fun, We Had A Buffet Of Coctail Food, We Did The Quesadilla, Chicken Pot Stickers, Crab Cakes, Mushroom In Phyllo Cups, Beef And Blue Cheese Bites, Then We Had A Cheese And Bread Platter Oh Yea We Did Mickey Mac & Cheese In Martini Glases!
It Was Nice Not Having The Whole Full Dinner We Could Get Mingle Eaat, Dance Very Relaxed!!!

Nothing really new to report here. I was home this weekend for BM Mary (malexan611)'s wedding. Everything was beautiful, especially her!! She's in hawaii right now and boy am I jealous!
