We usually drive but I am taking a dear friend as a retirement gift on the Wonder in Feb. and did some towncar shopping - I found Cartier to be the least expensive and also saw some great reviews. I have talked with someone that used them also and got a big thumbs up. And since I am travelling in Feb. and you are a way out - I will post my experience when I return.
We have used Tiffany Towncar for three cruises. We had a towncar on two trips and a van for the third. If you check prior posts you will se some complaints about Happy Limo.
We are going in January 2005 and are using Southern Elegance. We used them in Novemeber and they were great. We have also used Tiffany to go to WDW, but we are a large group now. Try searching limo.com
We were on the Wonder in December and used Southern Elegance to take us from the port to the Dolphin Hotel and then to the airport. We stopped for groceries before we got to the hotel. Adam and George were our drivers. Both were safe and kind and the cars were spotless. I felt that this company did a great job.
You search on Limos.com to see reviews and also to find their website.
Another vote for Southern Elegance! We used them to and from MCO. They were on time, has soft drinks and water available, DVD playing Finding Nemo and a big stuffed Mickey. Great service. Price was $290 RT tip not included.
We took three rides with FL Tours on our Halloween cruise. All three times, the limo was spotless, the drivers were courteous and prompt, and the drinks were cold. The limo had a DVD changer with around 10 Disney movies loaded in it, and two TVs.
It couldn't have gone any better. Next cruise we're doing exactly the same thing.
Wow lots of votes for Southern Elegance....we also used them back in September...and they were wonderful...Adam..the owner was also our driver and did an excelent job. And the limo itself was amazing....the one we had was a super strecth...that had only been on the streets for less than 3 weeks...very very nice and plush.
We've got 14 people going this January and we are using A1/Star Cruiser. They had the best rates for large SUV stretch limos and limo buses. In fact, there are not that many companies with luxury limo-type vehicles that hold 14+ people. We've used FL Tours last January (excellent) and Happy Limo two years ago (not so good).
Thanks to everyone for their replies - if anyone has any web sites for their recommended companies would be very pleased then we can look up and see who gives us the best deal.
We've used Tiffany Towncar's stretch limos for 3 trips and have had excellent service all 3 times. I have pictures of their limo on my web site under the Disney World May 2001 trip and the Disney Cruise trip. Here's a link to their website: http://www.tiffanytowncars.com/ There is a coupon on their site too, so if you use them, be sure to print it out.
