I know there are 3 names I see the most for sedans. Happy Limo, FL Tours, Tiffany Towncar. Is there anyone else?

I know FLTours gives $5 off for booking online (big whoop) so makes it an even $100. Which is reasonable- $50 each way. I think a cab is about the same.

What are prices for other sedan companies? Is there a place (thats unbiased) that lists these companies and their rates. I already know I wont use Happy Limo, A. It sounds like a Chinese restaurant and B. Ive heard too much negative feedback and heard that accents are thick and difficult to understand. I like to work with people who speak English clearly.

I see that AllEarsNet posted $95 Round trip for Tiffany and FL Tours is $100 with the online coupon they offer.

Can anyone speak on these 2 companies (besides a DIS moderator). I emailed DU for a list, but all I got was FLTours. Im not against them. I just like to feel like I made my decision based on choices.

Question: has anyone used both?

Golden Limo ( http://www.goldenlimofla.com/index.html ) is owned and operated by Jim Kropp. His English is flawless less a bit of a Texan accent ;)

He is about the only limo service that's never had a bad review. I've used Golden several times, and I can't tell you how happy I've been with the service!

We used Tiffany when we went 5 years ago, so it has been a while. They were great, Waiting for us and picked us up on time. Driver was friendly and gave us good information about WDW all the way there. Would use them again.

Another vote for Jimmy at Golden Limo! I previously used Happy Limo, but have now switched!

We've used Tiffany three times and Fl Tours twice at this point. We have had almost perfect service with Tiffany, all three times. We did get a driver one time that was a little non-conversational during the ride to our resort. But, he was fine going back to the airport. They have always been on time and right there at baggage claim waiting for us.
When we used FL Tours the first time, dh had to go off and search for our driver. Finally found him, but it took him so long that we actually had our luggage by then! But, the driver was very nice. That was the only issue we have had. Other than that one glitch, they have been fine. Pick up has been timely.

I wouldn't hesitate to use either one again. The big difference is the ability to use your credit card with Tiffany. You need to have cash for FL Tour.

We've used Cartier Towncars while in Orlando and have been very pleased. A grocery stop is included, and their round trip rate is $90. You pay each leg of your trip as it is completed, and there are no hidden costs, except, of course, for the tip.

While at WDW last time, we all got very sick and had to leave several days early to come home. Cartier was very understanding, and did not charge us for the second part of our RT, nor did they ask us to pay more for the first trip out. They were pleasant at all times, and easy to understand.

We will be using Cartier again in May, for both a RT from MCO and a trip to Margaritaville during the week.

i've used tiffany 3 times and been happy. I know they have coupon on website but I used my coupon from passporter for a better deal.

We have used Quicksilver twice(just got back yesterday) and they are awesome. I highly recommend them.

Thanks folks, I hope this info is helpful to more people than just me. I decided to go with Tiffany. using a credit card is nice, since we only want to carry so much cash and my husband hates ATMs because of the outrageous fees incurred.
And it seems everyone has had good service.

Anything that sounds like a Chinese Restaurant is out for me. I know, I know it's weird hang up.
I printed out a coupon for $5 off for booking on their website and have another from AllEarsNet, now I dont know if they will take both, but its worth a try.

We have used FL Tours on several trips and have had great service every time. Even once when our flight was delayed and we got to the airport 1.5 hours behind sch our driver was there waiting for.
One trip my 14 yr old left his cd holder in the van and one of the drivers brought it back over to us that same day.
We have been very happy with their service and would use them again.

I booked with Prestige. They have a grocery stop, car seats, can use credit card...and it's $80. (after $5 off coupon) There have been some good reviews on this site. www.prestigetowncar.com

Tiffany and Happy Limo are the 2 most expensive mentioned on these boards...but they will match prices from competitors. We used Happy Limo last year (rented a real stretch limo) and we were very pleased. Had an American dude who spoke clear English. When booking (over the phone) I explained why we weren't booking round trip, and the whole story about DS's first time at WDW, loves cars, etc....anyway, they offered me the VIP treatment--free. It only consisted of rolling out the red carpet for DS (5.5 yrs. old at the time :rotfl: ), but they went that little bit extra.....always a plus in my book! Plan to use them again this year.

We have used Tiffany about 10 times and Quicksilver 3 or 4 times and my sister has also used Quicksliver twice. I would use either again in a heartbeat. Great service, complimentary grocery stop and clean cars.

We've used Tiffany three times, and been very satisfied all 3 times. Friends of ours also used Tiffany, and one time a flight of theirs was delayed 6(!) hours, and Tiffany was still there waiting for them at 11:00PM.

However, I've heard that Tiffany automatically adds a gratuity. For this reason (and this reason only), I will probably try someone else this year. I've got this hang-up about requiring gratuities - I always thought they were voluntary (we have always tipped the driver 15-20 percent, each way, just in case the same guy can't make the return trip), but I don't like being forced to do this. Oh well, we each have our own quirks...

Thanks for the advice on alternative companies!

We also used Prestige towncar, $80 RT after booking online. Our driver Raphael was waiting with the sign in the airport, stopped at Publix and had a booster ready for my daughter. Just booked him for my sister who's in Disney now and she also agreed he is great. :moped:

crusoemom,
We've used Tiffany towncar, and they do not add the tip in their prices, at least for the Town Cars. Their website states that the tip (20% recommended) is not included in their rates.

We never had the gratuity added to our bill with Tiffany either. And as far as them being expensive...they were cheaper than FL Tours last August. I did book with FL Tours since I became a board sponser and that gave me a little discount. But, with the discount it was about the same as Tiffany.
