So I've got my lime green mickey heads, decorated, laminated. How, what do I do with them? I'm not taking a backpack to the park, or a fanny pack, and I don't want to wear a pin all day. How can I show this baby off so DISers can find me??
How about attaching it with a ribbon or string to a belt loop or button hole? Or I suppose on a long enough ribbon you could wear it around your neck like some people wear ID's.
I've got mine ready too, but I will have a purse and/or backpack to attach it to.
Of course, matching earrings would be lovely!!
Or how about hanging one from the back keyhole part of a baseball cap?? or poke a safety pin through it and attach to your shirt.
Do you have a lanyard of any sort? I wrote my DIS screen name on a Mickey head, punched a hole in it and attached it to my lanyard. They also make great luggage tags. You can attach them with cable ties and it makes it sooo much easier to identify your luggage on the baggage carosel!
I just got mine too and I got the sticker letters from Michaels. Just have to put it all together Trying to decide whether or not to take a backpack or beltpack...otherwise, I like the 'belt' idea. I'll be proudly sporting mine between Sept 25-Oct 2. Anyone else???
I have mine tied with lime green yarn to whatever I'm carrying that day. hyzdufan, guess you'll have to use your belt loops, inless you can convience your DF to tie one to her purse or fanny pac!
Do you have any place that sales Disney paint in youre country?
If you do they should have the samples. Most people get the sonic green.
If you want to PM me with youre address I have a couple extra I could send you snail mail.

I went to get a lime green mickey head at our local Home Depot and there were only 3 left, all the other colors were untouched. Makes me think there must be some Dis fanatics in the area!
We were at McDonald's last night, and when coming out, I noticed a Home Depot paint sample on the ground. I flipped it over and, you bet, lime green mickey head. No matter where I go...the DIS follows...
Dalpal, thanks so much for your kind offer!! We can't get them here in the Uk I have telephones a few stores that stock the paint but they don't have the sample heads!! Have sent you a pm!!
If you're careful, and if you prefer, you can gently peel off the Mickey head from the white backing, and put two heads together, back to back. Then laminate.
This is what I did, and I put them on all my bags.
Staples will do laminating (at least ours does) . I put the two Mickey heads back to back also, but I left them on the original card to help make it sturdier.
If you don't have access to a laminating machine, use clear contact paper. You can find it at Michaels, any teacher supply store, and usually most drug stores and grocery stores. It's a little easier and leaves a little more room for mistakes.
I plan to scan my mickey heads into my printshop program. From there I will be able to decorate and personalize them. I plan to get the large address label sheets from Staples and print out sheets of them. I should be able to stick them everywhere.
