Lime Green Mickey Head?

Lime green is the color of the Dis (not sure how or why). Home Depot has Disney paint in Alien Green. Their Disney paint chips are in the shape of a Mickey head. Many Dis members (me included) attach one to their day bags while in Disney, so other Dis members can identify them.

:goodvibes

The Lime Green Mickey head is the "alien green" paint sample of Disney paint that is sold at Home Depot. The paint samples are shaped as Mickey heads.
The reason for lime green was that in the past people here on the DIS would want to meet at WDW. They would wear something that was lime green so others would see it at the parks and stop to chat. Then Disney came out with the paint chips and a new compulsion started...swiping the paint chips! :cool1:

Thanks for the explanation.

I'll have to get myself one for my January trip!

Absolutely, you need to grab some chips.

I covered mine (both sides) with clear contact paper, the used a hole punch to make a hanging spot in one corner. I used some extra silky cord (from a craft store) to tie through a button hole on my shirt, and pieces of pipe cleaner (chenille stems) to fasten them to my camera bag and waist pack.

Some people put them in the windows/doors of their resort rooms, or attach them to strollers. It was fun spotting them around the parks each day. I didn't see a lot of them, but I did meet someone in Crystal Palace at dinner one night.

Just a little extra magic from DIS.
