Just got our PS for the Lilo & Stitch breakfast at the end of May.
Any suggestions for the quickest way to get from Hojo's to PP?

Go straight through Downtown Disney and when you get to the Lego Store turn left just after the building. This will lead you to what appears to be a backstage gate. Go through it, even though it says Cast Members. ( If you don't, then you have to walk all the way to the end of DTD and then turn left.) It is the shortest way to the parking lot along the road. Walk the sidewalk that goes along the parking lot and then go through the parking lot to the sidewalk on the other side. The PPH is right in front of you. Cross the intersection and enter the hotel.

We did that last year but we were running a bit late, so rather than try to run all the way to try to make our PS time, we took a cab. It just took 5 minutes or so. So I'd say walk if you have the time, but if time (or energy) is short, a taxi is a good alternative.

We took a cab too. We thought we should save our feet for the park. It worked out well as we weren't so rushed to get there

We walked through the plaza area and cut through the Grand and out the front entrance and cross the street right to the PPH.

How long should you allow for this walk?

Having done that walk in "cute" shoes (I was going to a DVC thing) and having that destroy my feet, honestly, I'd take a cab.

But if I had to walk, I would go from hojo into the bag check at the esplanade, go into DTD, get to the Grand Cal entrance (on the left just past Sephora), through the hall, out the fancy doors, and then out the driveway and across the street to PPH.

IMO it's a pain when you're trying to get somewhere in a hurry. If you have time to relax and saunter and take your time, do that (I'd give it an hour if going SLOW and sightseeing), otherwise...

well, hotel room to parking lot = depends on where your room is...
parking lot to bag check = 10 minutes for us usually...
bag check= ?...
cross esplanade = 1...
to Grand Cal entrance = 5...
through Grand Cal out doors = 3?...
out driveway cross street into PPH get to restaurant = 8?

Many variables.


I know that I, personally, wouldn't go through a gate stating Cast Members. If it's allowed that's great, but I know that I wouldn't go through it unless it said CMs and guests

I agree with Bumbershoot's route. You get to see the hotel, are indoors part of the way, pass bathrooms, bar and shop along the way, and lots of spots to park. I have heard of that cast member route and am too chicken to ever go that way.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I am thinking that at 7am I may be opting for the cab idea. Although....all these different routes, secret doors etc. sound pretty interesting!
