In April Ill be making a trip to DLR for my little sisters birthday. We wanted to surprise her with the trip, but that just didn't happen. We will be in the park on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday we have to drive up to San Diego for a wedding taking place that evening. I want to surprise my sister with a character breakfast Sunday morning. She currently thinks we are just gonna find a place to grab a quick bite on our way out and so this would be a big surprise for her. Ive been to most of the character breakfasts before, but not the Lilo and stitch one at paradise pier, is it similar to the others what separates it from say goofy s kitchen besides Lilo and Stitch? (Stitch is one of our favorites)

I have only been to the Lilo and Stitch and the princess meals and I was at both in August. The princess meal was awful. The food was awful and the princesses barely came by and let you take a photo, then left. It wasn't crowded either.

That is why we went to Lilo and Stitch. I had heard that it was much better and it was. We went on a Sunday AM, too, and only waited a bit with no PS. The characters came around quite a bit and stayed awhile and joked around with the children. There is also a stage where some characters will stand for posed photos with your group. The food was good, too. It was much less in price than the other character meals. I don't remember the exact cost, but it was maybe around $20-22. They had Lilo, Stitch, Pluto, Daisy Duck, and Minnie.

I like that you can either order buffet or order off of the menu. We had a lot of interaction with the characters (moreso than at Goofy's Kitchen). It's more like a normal restaurant, whereas Goofy's Kitchen seems to me to be more compartmentalized with all the different areas.

I've enjoyed the breakfasts that we have had there.

I love the Lilo and Stitch breakfast. Now, it's the only one I've done, but I thought they were great. we've been 3 times now! The characters are great, and are really interactive. They have fun little games, and the food is yummy too!

I forgot to mention that they play Elvis music, too. I didn't feel like they hurried you to get done and out as much as Ariel's Grotto, too. When we were seated, they said something about there being a time limit that we could stay seated, but whatever that limit was, it was much longer than we would have stayed anyway. I'm thinking it was 2 hours or so. I guess they don't want you sitting there and eating all day long.

I love Lilo and Stitch breakfast. It's my favorite and the food is super good.

We've gone about 5 times and all the characters we have seen have been Lilo, Stitch, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Max and Daisy.

They play Elvis music and Lilo hosts a hula lessons for the kids.

I'm so sorry your AG experience was bad. :( We love it there, we eat there pretty regularly with the kids. :) it's their favorite!

Lilo & Stitch is great, great food and the characters are fun. We really do like it but we don't do it much because it's so far from the parks. You do get a time limit with all characters meals but as far as I know it's the same amount of time for every meal. 90 minutes. Have fun!

Thanks everyone! I will defiantly check out this breakfast it sounds like its gonna be just what we're looking for.

Also jocotter I totally agree with you on Ariel grotto, my boyfriend and I went there for his first DL trip along with goofy s Kitchen, my mom went there also with my lil sister 9th birthday trip, both times the food was awful. When I was there the random prince they had walking around was more personable then the princess, same with my moms trip. Last Christmas we opted to go to Minnie's Breakfast instead it was much better, but Ive done it a hundred times.

Gosh, it really makes me sad to hear bad experiences at Ariel's. Seriously, we've eaten there for breakfast once, dinner twice and lunch at least four times......we have never had bad service, bad food or bad Princess interaction. :( I can't believe we are that lucky.......

I think the food really depends on what you get, I always order of the kids menu and theres really no way to mess up chicken fingers, but my mom had the meat loaf which was awful. I wasnt being entirely fair, areil herself was at our table twice, but the first time she just made a joke about our soda and walked away, she came back later for the pictures

I have a second question. How old is the child's price?

Their new menu is absolutley AMAZING!!!! We have been there about 5 times for lunch or dinner (no breakfast) and the food was just...... But now it is the best we had on our 6 day trip. We did all the character meals, WCT, French Market and BB twice. Give it another try!!!

We love Lilo and Stitch best as a character breakfast. You can do buffet or a la carte. Their a la carte is much cheaper than Storytellers for similar food. Their buffet has the regular fare but they also add flautas and tropical stuff. The pineapple/ cocnut scones are :thumbsup2 Check out the menu on allears.net to get a better idea

Have fun!!!

Oh see Ariel has never come to our table, we just see her when we walk down the stairs and have the pictures done. :) And then we see whoever else is there. I've never ordered from the kids' menu, I always order from the adults menu but I've never done the meatloaf so maybe that was just not a good item to have. lol I don't know....I've done the cheeseburger, the chicken cesar, the pasta and I'm so excited to do the new menu....I really want to do this when we are there in a couple of weeks. :)

I've eaten at Ariel's twice, going again this year. The first time the princess interaction was fabulous (isn't it amazing how shiny a little girl's eyes get when they see their favorite princess) and the food...meh, not so much. The second time, the princess interaction wasn't as great (not bad, just not as great) and the food was better. So this time, I'm sure the princess interaction and the food will be awesome!

We are doing the Stitch and Lilo breakfast for the first time this year. I'm very excited about it, I think it sounds great. Normally my kids aren't big breakfast eaters, so we've never done it, but being able to eat off the menu instead of a huge buffet that they won't hardly nibble is much better. Anyhow, I'm really hoping for Daisy because she is my absolute favorite and I've never seen her yet.
