I called to sign up today. me "I'd like to join Connections please" nice LV lady "OOOhhh your going to Disney World how fun!" me "yes (???)" LV lady "you got the information off of the DIS board right?" me "yes (LOL)" lady "oh we've had SO many calls from people who are on there! it's such a great deal and let me tell you this info then I'll get right to your freemie's ok?" etc it was such a nice conversation she was a very sweet lady! Everything was really easy to do.

About the only thing you can get from the lillian vernon website is their phone number... there is no reference to Connections at all. I just called and signed up and also had a very knowledgeable and pleasant phone rep.

She also mentioned another program they offer, called "homeworks", I think, and I didn't pursue what was offered in that one since she said only Connections had the Disney benefits. Anybody tried that one and have more info? Now I'm kind of wishing I had checked it out.

If nobody knows, I'll call back another day and ask about it. TIA!

You'll need to call the toll free number listed there to get the membership information. It's not available on the website.

The "Homeworks" program with Lillian Vernon offers 20% discounts at stores including (but not limited to) Lowes, Home Depot, K-Mart, Pier One, Pennys, etc., discounted movie tickets, and restaurants (Fridays, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc.) . There's other stuff too. You can get a 30-day free membership with a free $25 gas card just for trying the program. After your 30-day free trial, it's $9.95 a month. It's a pretty good program and, if nothing else, get your $25 gas card, use your free membership for 30 days and then cancel. You have nothing to lose. You can discontinue at any time. Connections and Homeworks are upsales for the phone reps at Lillian Vernon and they would love to sign you up for one!!

I'm sure it's on here somewhere, but any thread I read talks about what they are good for (like what restaurants). However, can someone please tell me how much they cost through Connections? Is it possible for me to buy enough vouchers for my vacation and then cancel my membership? Is it easy to figure out once you've joined Connections?

If you join thru Lillian Vernon you can cancel at anytime. I joined in May, ordered vouchers, and after they arrived, I called and cancelled.

Could someone please tell me again what you use the vouchers for? Just meals? Are they good at any food place in Disney? How much do you save?

If you join Connections or Homeworks thru Lillian Vernon you still have to cancel thru Connections or Homeworks.

The vouchers are $11.50 with free shipping.

Once you join thru Lillian Vernon it takes about three business days and then you can call Connections or Homeworks and begin using the service.

I'm not sure how many times you can join and cancel. The people at Connections don't seem too bright and probably don't keep track.
