Okay, so today is 19days till our VR, and 17 till we leave. BUT, only 2 days till DH starts leave!!! YAY!!! Monday I am going to meet a fellow disbride (ILUVASOLIDER) on her way to Disney in Nashville!!!! Oh and then DH & I are taking DS2 to Oprymills to hit up the Disney Outlet that opens here on thursday. Can we say WOOHOO!!! LOL.

Tomorrow is a girls night w/ a friend and right now I'm so needing that. I need a break from the norm and to get out. I cant wait till the girls night on the 12th. I just want vacation to be here.

Teresa Richardson. She started out great, but the past 2months no returned emails about stuff. I am hoping that she got the package I mailed to her because it contains my Cake topper and Cake ribbon that she had me mail 2wks or more prior to make sure the bakery had it. I'm stressed right now w/ it being 10days away, so I'm thinking its time to call to make sure she knows everything.

So excited for you!!! You sure about your husband taking leave BEFORE the wedding though? We'd be like this and I'd be like this if my DH was around the final days before my wedding!!!

LOL Thanks ladies. I woke up and went "SINGLE DIGITS!!!" LOL. We leave a week from today so its really hitting now. Today and tomorrow any money I make at work is going toward our trip. I'm just tooooooo excited now. Now, just to start printing off DS's homework for the trip and binding it, and then packing all our stuff!!!!

WOOHOO... Done w/ printing and binding DS's homework for while we are gone. Door Clings done. . Last of the t-shirts DONE!!!! LOL. I'm just happy to be into the packing stage now. Still not sure how to transport our sand ceremony, but I know we will figure something out.

Heard back from SOG FINALLY that they did receive my cake topper and stuff. But, I heard back from a secretary not my planner. I'm getting kind of worried, but I'm sure it will all be ok. I just need to relax.

My girls night out was planned for this coming thursday, but the people who insisted on having one are now backing out slowly. We were planning Dinner at a mexican place and drinks at an Irish pub. Nobody wants to be seen drinking in public all of a sudden. So, now we are down to just dinner. I honestly dont want mexican but it was the only place close to the pub I wanted to visit (irish food!!!) since I did have a couple under 21s going that couldnt go to the pub. Now, I just feel blah because the same thing happens every time I plan something. My birthday they canceled the day of and we were just going to a baseball game. IDK. Maybe its just my bad luck. IDK. I was thinking of seeing if MIL would watch boys for a bit so D & I could get out but that would defeat the girls night. UGH. Sorry to vent. Just that D's guys day (hunting) went great for him having the rain hold off till he got home, and now he is wanting to go again b4 we leave. IDK maybe I just need to stop thinking about it.

The time is flying!!

I can really relate to your feelings about the Girls Night Out. I didn't have anyone to throw me one either and after my SIL hinted to my sister that she should throw me a bachelorette party, she told my other sister that she "got roped into it" I told her to forget it. You have to be with people who are going to support you! So if that means a romantic night out with hubby, I say go for it!

HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY (aka Easter)!!!!

OMG we are 1wk out and I feel like I'm going to get sick from all the nerves. I'm taking a break at this moment from packing (yeah STILL not done...and usually I've had it done for 2wk by now). I'm working on my stuff. Dennis is insisting on waiting till wed/thursday for his (UGH MEN). I'm trying to finish up the kids' stuff too. Tuesday or Wed I'm hoping to get the car cleaned out and loaded just to test it out and see how much room we will have. If we will have enough I want to pack the water and other stuff in there. If not then I guess we will place a garden grocer order. I just want to get done packing. I feel honestly like the only one who has done anything to get us ready, but I know I'm not.

I found out today that my shorts are the exact same color as my skin, so when I put them on it looks goofy. SOOOOO guess who is going to have to take a trip to the tanning salon for a spray tan b4 we leave so I dont look as goofy as I do now. I really didnt want to because I fear it getting on the dress b4 the ceremony or ruining the dress, but I cant look like I'm not wearing pants either. So, I guess I will see what is offered in town and is the least orange. LOL

Lil, be sure to get Mystic HD spray tan!! I experimented with it before our cruise, and it turned out beautiful. Then I booked one in FL to "give it a boost" before we left for our cruise. I asked them THREE TIMES when booked it over the phone if they had they the HD Mystic tans and was told yes. THEY DID NOT!!! I spent the whole trip with this huge dark drip going down my right calve, it was so embarrassing. The difference is, they Mystic HD sprays lightly (so it doesn't drip), and they have warm blowers to dry you off, so you don't streak yourself wiping anything off. The HD experience was WONDERFUL.

Just one world of warning though, be sure to put the lotion on your hands and bottom of feet like they suggest, or it's gonna look pretty funky!!

I've done spray tan several times. I've only done the one's where you have someone spray you, not the ones in booths. My one word of warning would be to be prepared for the fading. For me, the tan lasted perfectly for about 2-3 days. After that, it starts to fade and on me that happens in blotches. So by 7 days out, I would have splotches on my legs, back and arms. It takes another few days after that for it to completely fade out so in the meantime I looked...weird. This is the main reason I am not doing one for the wedding, I don't want to deal with the fading during the honeymoon. Everyone is different of course, just sharing my personal experience

The Mystic HD lasted about 5 days...but as you are exposed to the sun more (hopefully with sunscreen) the less you notice the fade. How many days will it be between you get the spray, and your wedding day? If it's more than a couple of days, you might want to have it done there the day before.

I was kind of worried about using the hot tub on our cruise, but it didn't seem to deminish the look (and the dark drip was as dark as ever :roll eyes: ) Im just glad pictures were all taken from the front!!
