Likelihood of Gran Destino being included in room discounts?

With the talk of fewer discounts in 2020, I know this is probably a long shot. Still, I am interested in hearing what others think with far more experience than me! Planning on going 4/15-24, and there is usually a room discount around this time. What do you think the likelihood is that Gran Destino rooms will be included in this promo? Thanks!

Easter 2020 is April 12th. I think any discounts within a couple weeks on either side of the holiday is low.

Gran Destino currently has room offers through the holidays - i'm booked starting on Thanksgiving for 4 nights on a passholder room offer which is up to 25% for moderates, same discount for FL resident. I think the public offer is up to 20%. Club rooms are even 10% off on these same offer categories.

I would tend to agree with you, however I was able to snag the free dining discount last year for the entire week of Christmas. Do you think Disney only restricts discounts around certain holidays?

Nice score on the xmas free dining! I always book room only, so i don't follow those deals.
I doubt Disney restricts to only certain holidays. It's always about filling rooms for them, so discounts may appear if the occupancy isn't where they like it.

Make a reservation now, and stalk the discounts. You can always apply a discount when/if one comes out.

Good point! Do you normally stay at Deluxe resorts with the Room only discount? I did the math last year and we ended up saving more with the Free Dining (We would more than likely buy the dining plan outright when there is no discount, just how we like to vacation). I see a lot of people on the threads that save more money with the room discount, so I am curious!

We have stayed at all levels of WDW hotels over the years, but deluxe is what we have opted for the majority of our trips.

Did you check today? Gran Destino towers rooms were included for our dates. Unfortunately only 10% off, but at least that is something!

I'm currently disappointed there is nothing online for Coronado Springs. They launched new logo merchandise over the summer when Gran Destino Tower opened in July, yet nothing on Shop Disney or virtually any online retailer for this merch can be found. Plenty of other resort items can be found, just not that one.
