Hello all. I haven't posted in a while as I have been on vacation in remote Idaho vacationing at the lake of priests (also known as Priest Lake). When I returned, work and school board duties have taken my time

But I have enjoyed the updates as I read through all the crazy postings....my I guess I am going to have to come up with a few shortcomings of myself, which I hate to admit that I have but everyone knows exists. I will think on those for a while....but I do love the tie dye clothes. They are so cool

All is well with the Preachers family as all are home now and we have shuffled rooms to accommodate all 5 kids being back home. And we have a new addition to our home. The girls brought home a kitty only 5 weeks old that we are nursing to health. Interesting life we lead....
First off, welcome back!! It's been far too long since you've joined in!!! HA!
Glad you like the shirts!
Concerning cats... we've brought home several abandoned kittens here, but they've everyone died! It was awful, and now my kids have learned to not bring them home anymore.
So my thoughts are turned to our trip in a year and I am in desperate need of it!!!! I am dreaming of the magical feeling as I enter under the welcome sign and plan my day with my old and new friends. I can't wait to sip a "rita" and dip in a pool in the sunshine!!!! Ahahaha the life of the women that have earned a trip of freedom away
We are all in desperate need of this trip. Ritas by the pool? I can very much handle that! How 'bout a Lapu Lapu in the Poly??
Yes, it really is a magical feeling sailing under that welcome sign, and I can totally imagine us screaching like little children as we do so! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!
My unique shortcomings.
(You have some??!!!
)
1. I must have at least one dr. pepper a day or I get grumpy.
We better Garden Grocer that one; I'm not sure they have any on property... anyone know for sure??
2. I must have sun and the hotter the better. We had 107 degrees here and I was the only one happy.
Me too, baby! But I do get a bit grouchy if it's humid AND hot!
3. I am always cold.
Is this why we are such great friends? We are so alike!!!
4. The older I get, the less I am able to stay up until 2 am and get up 7 am and be happy. I do need my sleep to be pleasant (at least 8 hours).
Again, same here. But trust me... you won't want to stay in bed when a whole new park day awaits you! And it IS hard to leave when the park is still open.
5. Super slow people drive me nuts when I am ready to go and trying to get somewhere.....what are they thinking? This seems to be a unanimous thing....
It sure does! Move it, people!!!
6. I have a cough that is always with me....especially when I am physically active. It drives everyone nuts but I can't do anything about it so just know that it is part of me and my "thorn in the flesh" that makes me unique.
I think you think it bugs people; it really doesn't. Don't worry about it! If you can deal with the freaking gag-a-woman, then I can deal with "Suzy Q. Coughy Pants"!
Ok, I will think of a million more but that is my list right now.
I have a few more pet peeves but they have to do with teenagers (in my house) and won't have anything to do with this trip!!!!!
Darn tootin'-- they ALL stay home, this time!
Looking forward to reading more of this
