She will NOT call home unless there is a DIRE emergency.

Spend time in WS, until my little ol' heart is content. I want the shows, I want to take in the details, I want the snacks, baby!!! I'm holding your funnel cakes hostage, ladies! Follow me there.

I'm sure you will want to 'check in' with your family. Maybe calling every other day wouldn't be so bad. We always call our parents after our flights just to let them know our plane actually landed.

How many days are you planning on going to Epcot? By some chance you walk past those funnel cakes in the WS (which I'm sure won't happen), you can always get them in MK. I don't remember if you guys are going the DDP but one difference is that the MK funnel cake counts as a snack. The WS one doesn't!!!!!popcorn::

Love the trip tenants, but a few calls home wouldn't be to damaging would they? Or are they like potato chips where you can't have just one? :lmao:

I think I need one of those masks now too. I have to go add it to my December shopping list now.

I am sooo with you - I would love spending enough time in WS to see all of the shows. DH & DS are far too impatient. I need to work on meeting some strangers on the DIS to spend time in WS with me. :lmao:

Okay, I can see I'm gonna get roasted for this, so let me try to explain...

First of all, unless I have access to Skype, (which I probably will if maroo brings her laptop, but let's overlook that for now), I really won't have a way to do it. Overseas calls cost about $30 for a 10 minute call. Strike one.

Secondly, I definitely WILL call when I arrive in the States on the front end of my trip. That will be 2 whole weeks before we get to Orlando. So, they will get approximately 14 calls then. I DO love them, afterall. I figure 14 calls is more than plenty. Strike two.

Thirdly, I'm really feeling that part of this trip is in many ways therapeutic. I need to know again, that I can have an identity apart of the neediness of my family . Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my role as a wife and mother, but after 20 years of VERY little time for me, I think it's time. It's hard to explain.

Lastly, my family is a bit bent out of shape that I get to do this- especially DH. I don't want to rub salt in the wound, so to speak. So that's strikes three AND four, so you're out!

Now, onto funnel cakes... yes, I knew that about WS ones not being on the DP, but I couldn't think of maroo's other WS snackoid. I'll go back and find it, and threaten to hold it ransom too.

DDP??? Not sure yet. Depends on the bounceback she scores in a couple of weeks. So more info. pending on that.

Yeah, I think we just got to strike 5! I know if I call once, it will be all over. My marshmellowy sappiness will win control, and that will be it.

Those masks were gorgeous! Incredible!! Alas, I now I cannot afford one- they were like $100 or something outrageous, if I remember right- I am really, really hoping that I can find a pin with one on it. Anyone know if they exist??

Ok...

I feel the need to lighten things up a little bit. :lmao:

So...I will tell you what I was laughing so hard about! :thumbsup2

It was Lisa and Richard (Lauren's parents) and we were standing around talking when something happened that made me laugh out loud. Then...I...got "winded"...out loud...and then DIED laughing. :lmao:

I was literally on the floor on laughing. :rotfl:

I was so embarassed and it was so, so funny. We were all just cackling. Until I started coughing. Couldn't breathe. Had to go upstairs to get my inhaler and by then it was too late. 30 min drive to the hospital and 3 breathing treatments later, I was fine.

So there's your warning. And all courtesy of Lisa - who so kindly asked me to tell ALL of you guys that!

Now, no one can ever accuse me of not being a good sport. :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

And with that...my confessions are OVER!

As for fires... well, that was an unfortunate, minor! mishap. Which makes me think I should also secure a litigation insurance policy!!! :lmao:

Uh...I might die for posting this, but what about the time you threw a lighted match (on accident) into the trash can. And didn't know about it?

First, just want to make sure everyone knows that "Lisa" is NOT me. I am "Liesa". But, I feel a challenge. Can I make maroo laugh so hard she needs medical attention? Now, I know I won't be trying too hard, cuz she already posted here that I won't be driving her car. :lmao: She'd have to walk to Celebration. :rotfl2:

Uh...in the case of needing to go to an ER...you may drive my car! ::yes:: Let's just get that settled now, shall we? Or call 911 and send the Reedy Creek people after me!

How about extra points if we DON'T end up in the ER? Shall we? I think every person should only have go to ONCE during a WDW vacation and we took care of my "once" during our wish trip! ::yes::

Yes...you are Liesa (e in the middle, but sometimes I type it wrong :rolleyes1)...then there is Lisa that is Lauren's Mom and my BF...and not to be confused with Lisa P - who is Lauren's full time assistant at school...too many Lisa's! And this is a common conversation at their house. We never know which one of you we are talking about...

When Lauren says it there is "Mom", "_____stan Liesa" and "Lisa P"...

In fact...Lauren wanted me to tell you (Liesa) that she thought about you in math class the other day. She was trying to figure out what time it was there. So...hello from Lauren!

But now you are asleep. So...hello in the morning! :wave2:

Uh...I might die for posting this, but what about the time you threw a lighted match (on accident) into the trash can. And didn't know about it?

Uh....I think your days may be numbered. :rotfl:

Okay, agreed. But you know, this could be a slippery slope sorta thing... IF I get permission for one thing, it's not so hard to say that "If I don't take the car, I'll miss and ADR!", or something equally as emergeny-ish.

Yes! Extra points for NOT going to the ER, also for just getting sick in general  ; let's not be having to get Sprite and force our way to finish out our days :rolleyes1 at the park. Ditto for back pain (both of us have that issue)-- no wheelchairs, eh??

HI LAUREN!!!!!! That's sweet of her to think of me in math class. At least, I"m more exciting than integers. :woohoo:

Bek can be quite the bean-spiller. It was a very, very insignificant event- however, I shudder to think what might have happened if my youngest son hadn't seen the flaming trashcan. scared1:

WOW $30 for 10 minutes. Seems like a lot. Can you get one of those pre-paid phone cards?

If you had a Maroo's computer Skype away! LOL

I understand that you need a break. I need one too!!!!!!!!!

You don't want to have a family that resents (sp?) you when you get back. Make sure you tell them your trip was just OK and you doubt you would ever do it again. LOL:rotfl:

Leisa, you need to see if you can top this!!!!!!

Uh...I might die for posting this, but what about the time you threw a lighted match (on accident) into the trash can. And didn't know about it?

UMMMMMMMMM are you asking to get in trouble?

Your mom should have posted this on her confessions.:lmao:

That is so incredibly funny! WE just posted on each other's reports at the EXACT same time!!! Weird.

I could forget that she will have the laptop... AND I love your suggestioin to downplay the goods. I can be very good at that. Except, I will probably have a really hard time talking about anything else for the entire next year! :lmao:

Hmmm, I could confess, that after one has 5 children bad things tend to happen to bladders. If she makes me laugh too hard, I'm wetting my pants. That's just a fact. If I sneeze it happens too. Sorry, it's the ugly and laughable truth! I'd rather have wet pants than a nebulizer!!!! ANYDAY!

How's that?!

Onto a few more "Tenets to Tour By"

I am NOT a very good photographer. I can point and shoot with the best of them (amateurs, that is), and about 1 in 10 photos will be decent enough to post or be proud of. There are always your occasional shots of some dork talking with his mouth full of food, or a blurry face with a spectacular background, which usually evokes and audible, "DOH!" when viewed for the first time on the computer.

Last trip, exactly ZERO of my POTC shots turned out; ditto for the fireworks. I hate that!

So, one of the goals I have for this time around is to spend the year practicing with my camera- a lot. Just to be geeky and all that, I actually got out the manual AND read it- yes, front to back. I learned a lot, but most of it was like water on a ducks back.

You know what was really helpful?? I started reading Todd H.'s PTR a few days ago, and he is one of the "pros" on the photo board. (His title is "Braving the Humidity and Going in Sept" or something similar, and you can find it HERE . On page 2 or 3 there are tons of hints for shooting in the dark and for parades. Let me tell you, those folks know what they are doing!! Their photos rock!!! Mine will be better, than they were last year, but won't rock, cuz, I can't shell out $2,000 for a slick new rig like they have.

So, without further ado Soldier #1's #3 Tenet is: (the # key is growing on me)

I will take many more photos, and with God's grace, they will be of much of better quality than last trip's, which were pathetic and too few. It will be a bigger focus, but not so much overly so, that maroo and TPW, get annoyed.

OK, my fingers are tired, so I'll have to save #4 for later today or tom. I have to go give a spelling test now. :teacher:

Your Tenents have me :rotfl2: in stitches! especially #3. I too am a wannabe amateur photographer and I thank God every day for digtital photography and mega memory cards. I literally take 3-5 pictures every time I snap a photo. That way there is a good chance that at least one of them will turn out good.

Thanks for the TR link - night shots and fireworks are my archnemesis! :rotfl: I'm hoping to improve my photog skilz enough to capture a "perfect" shot of Wishes this year!

UMMMMMMMMM are you asking to get in trouble?

Your mom should have posted this on her confessions.:lmao:

I guess so, yea. It's so fun to hear her sceam at the top of her lungs- You can NOT post that! Or something else along those lines. I have to say, I usually know which of her buttons to push and when.

Wannabe is such the word for me! I point and shoot, then pray. I think those petitions fall on deaf ears for this particular topic, cuz, they don't get answered. Here's a good example of what I"m talking about...

See what I mean. Of course, I had some pretty decent ones too, but my skills CAN be improved :teacher: I hate that my sucky skills wrecked a cute picture of my little girl!

Censorship will plague you until you leave! Just the facts of life! Buttons, I have many, but you do too. :lmao:

Ok, all caught up, I'm so behind on my DISing. Work, darn work, I feel blessed to be working in this economy, but it is taking away from my DIS time :rolleyes1

You all have me :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Liesa after having two kids I know what you mean about the bladder :rolleyes1 can you say two babies nearly 10 lbs a piece (DS4 was 10 lbs 5 oz and DS1 was 9 lbs 7 oz)

loving the tenets, so where are yours Mary? I know you're still on confessions, come on woman catch up :lmao: Hope all is well in your life now.

Yeah...no sickies!!
