Not re-hash the smoking thing, but I did have a nasty experience with my chain smoking neighbors whom I was downwind of. DS & I used our balcony alot, being an apartment dweller my entire life without a terrace/porch/balc etc, it was so magical for me to sit and look out at the woods and see the otter swim around. Wow what a luxury. My neighbors liked to sit outside as well and were heavy smokers. It drove me and my son inside every single time. It was so offensive, but there is nothing I could do. I just let it go. I really do wish they would have a strict no smoking anywhere area. Sei la vie, live and let live.

starz723 - I agree with you on the strictly non-smoking. Now that I'm a reformed smoker, I can't stand the smell of the stuff. Had I known then how offensive it would be to the neighbors, I would have never done it . I was always one of those "polite smokers".

Zippadee Doo Dah Tip for the Day:

A great "break" from the parks is Arts & Crafts located in the Cubs Den from 2:30-4:00pm. Free crafts ( parent supervision is required ) are a fun way to transition from the park to hotel. I like to do it before nap time! Cubs Den is located just outside the Merchentile Entrance across from the Arcade!

When you are mailed your itinerary questionaire from the concierge, if you have already made your PS's, what other things do you typically include on the sheet? Do you list the PS's that you already have? I really don't have much else to add.

Well boys and girls, it appears that my Memories Box has been lifted! Please see the memories box thread for more info but it has me really upset that with all the signs on it that say, "Please do not throw this box out....if found, call XXXXXXXXX". Why would someone blatently NOT call??? Why?!?!? Probably in the Disney Lost and Found.

Sigh....I am sad.

I had really hoped that someone misunderstood what to do and was going to mail it back to you...

I was so sad when I couldn't find it!! Mom even got poison ivy while looking for it...we suffered for the box!

Let me start off by saying what a fantastic thread this is! That being said since I leave tomorrow I don't have time to read anymore and I need an answer fast. After crafting what I must say was a great room request fax I proceeded to AllEars to obtain the fax number and was shocked to see that the WL does not accept room requests. Is this true? I check in on Tuesday after a few days at the HRH. Is it too late to add requests to my reservation? I read on another thread that those have to be done 10 days in advance. Am I out of luck? Thanks for any help!

Hi, what to do, what to do...since you don't have enough time to make request on your reservation, but you will be in the Orlando area. I would do a early check-in Tuesday morning and just make your request then, your room may not be avaliable then but it will give the CM's more options to try and assist you with any special needs or request, where if you show up at 3:00p.m. and make the same request it may be after 90% of the rooms have been assigned to other guest. Earlier=more rooms.

In a weird kinda way, I am glad that it was a vet that found it missing..wish it hadn't been ME, but it seemed "right" that a Vet should break the news to Fred.

I can't tell you how sad I was walking back..it was right when we were leaving and it bummed me out.
