Many wishes for a very Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!

I'm at work today, I'm an Accountant, and it's year end...... Hopefully, we'll get to leave a bit early today. Then we're off to IL's for a traditional Italian Fish Feast.

Brittany is so excited for Santa to come tonight.

The awe and excitement of a child at Christmas has always been a joy to me so I can see how excite you must be watching little “B”.
Merry Christmas to all the little people.

I agree Roy. This year is Julia's 3rd christmas and Renee and I are really enjoying her experience. She really loves the Santa idea and helped us decorate the tree. I have movie footage of it that, to me, is priceless.

Christmas Eve and yet I am at work. Hope to go home early but not looking that way at the moment.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I have video taped my son every Christmas. Its such a magical moment to watch children. My son is 11 (he is like me, an only child, no cousins or extended family) and still believes in Santa. This will probably be his last year, as the kids in school have told him there is no santa and he just asked me the other day if there really is a Santa. I just went along and told him, "of course there is a Santa". Last night he asked me if he could put out carrots for Santa's reindeer like we always do. He is holding on to the magic.

One Christmas Eve, when he was a toddler, he used to sleep in the bed with me. We heard noises on our air conditioner (which was sleet pounding on it). He awoke and said, Mommy, I hear the reindeer climbing up the side of the building....Santa is here!! OMG...from the mouth of babes. I told him. Shhhh, you have to go back to sleep, or Santa wont come inside. To this day, my son believed that we heard the reindeer.. That is so precious.

So its kinda sad for me, that I think this will be the last year/night we bake cookies for Santa and put out carrots for his reindeer. My son is about to cross over into the next phase of his life.

Funny, WDW believes that you are an adult after age 9.
:earseek: Thats when you pay adult price.

I will pray for all of you, our country and soldiers tonight at midnight mass. :grouphug:

Im at work and was just told we have to stay for the entire day. So Im here till 5:30PM..then my 1 hour commute. Then I cook the fish!!! (Im of Italian/English heritage. My Italian side always did the big Fish Dinner on Christmas Eve.. YUM..cant wait.

Merry Christmas:D :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :wave2:

Just wanted to check in to wish all of the WLer's a very happy holiday! And a big thank you to everyone who helped me to plan DD's Christmas surprise. Tonight's the night! I won't have to keep our trip a secret any more!:bounce:

Ratpack really liked the POLY!! Help.. I want to go back home to the Lodge. We toured WL one afternoon, and I got really homesick. Help me to convince him that there is NO where else to stay!!!!

NORAD has spotted Santa over the Atlantic headed this way! Time to get the kiddies to bed! ;)

Have a magical Christmas/Hannukah everybody! Best wishes and pixie dust for awesome 2004s to you all!

Thanks for the commaraderie on this thread- helps me keep the Disney magic alive after its 20 year dormancy!!

Time to get DD (6 1/2) to bed. She is my WL/Disney companion and I"ve got some Disney treats under the tree for her tomorrow.

This is my son's second Christmas (he is 19 months) and the first Christmas with dad away (he is stationed in Korea). I just finished helping Santa put out all Ethan's gifts...but Santa forgot to bring the batteries! I am so upset! His "big" gift is a toy train set (he LOVES trains) and it takes 6 AAA batteries! I checked all the remote controls and other toys in the house and they all take AA. The poor thing is going to wake up and see this awsome looking train set that won't do anything...not to mention Santa wasn't able to give it a test run. Hopefully Grandpa can save the day if he has batteries he can bring over tomorrow!

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

...cu-u-u-ute!

Well, guys, I'm headin' out with my 17-y-o DS tomorrow morning to pick up his XMas gift...a cute, cuddly Samoyed puppy!!
