FC.....YAY!!!:hyper: I am sooo glad to hear from you! It is great to have you back. I hope you're recovering well and I will send some extra prayers and Pixie Dust:wizard: :wizard: We missed you so much!!:happy1:

You are not a Fairy, but an Angel. I can not put in words the enjoyment I have had from the CD. I put it in my home center when I rest and never get tired of it.
Thanks for subbing the weather reports, can't have lodgers coming down with the wrong wardrobe.

Does anyone remember what the AP rates were for WL this past July? We are already planning our trip for this coming July and would like a base line to start figuring a budget.:D

You are most welcome My Wacky Wild Weatherman!! *bends on one knee* I humbly present you back with the Weather Wand, but think I will keep the "Wicked" part of the title!
I am glad that the Music soothes you!! That was the intention!

I tried to go back and look, most people were just doing the FTP if I remember correctly standard view was $109.00 Woods View was $125.00, Coutyard View $140.00. That was for Value Season starting 7/4/2003 (same as current AP rates)

The discounts became available the first week in May this year, but were available in Jan 2002, so you'll just have to watch for AP rates, I would go ahead and make room only reservations now then change them when (IF) rates become available.

Check out Mousesavers history of discounts:

FC, So glad you are back!

Ratpack, Nice looking countdown you got there!

Its good to be home. First off, Liv2C did you get your mail?? The MVMVP was the best. One hint, sit on main street where the shops are. We sat near the castle and missed all the ACTION.

The lodge was beautifully decorated and the Christmas music playing got us in the Christmas mood.

We were in room 7043 courtyard view. A loooong walk from the concierge lounge and desk area, short walk to the back elevators to Roaring Forks and the boat dock. Also the window at the end of the hall you could watch the fireworks out of. Although we loved the lodge, we will not choose concierge again. The staff were friendly but not helpful. The pal mickey that I arranged a month in advance was not in the room when we checked in. I was told they would put it in the next day while we were gone to the parks, didn't see it. So I went down to ask about it and they said they didn't know anything about it, that I could go down to the gift shop and get it or they could do it, "it will only take a second". I told them to not worry about it, my husband wasn't interested anymore. No apologies. Then our stroller broke on Sat and I asked if they had one or knew were to get one and they told me that I could rent one at any of the parks or go to an outside company. Renting was fine at the parks, but didn't help us at Downtown Disney or coming and going in the parking lots. Try toting a 30lb sleeping kid around for hours. My husband did it for 1 day and had enough. We spotted some strollers for sell at Once upon a Toy. Sit down all you mothers for this piece of the story...we paid......$40.00 for a regular umbrella stroller. Thats right, I said $40. This stroller probably costs $15 at Walmart. But when your back has had enough what can you do. Beyond the staff problems, the food was ok. If you wanted a coke you have to find someone to ask for it. They did have beer and you have ask for it too.
We ate at WC a few times. Loved the pork chops. Oldest got to do the pony ride and asked for the ketchup. Kinda on the expensive side but worth it.
More later got to go unpack and cook dinner.

FC glad to see you are back, and all is going well! We were worried!

Maidmarion, and Liv2CDWorld, I will have my "GREEN" ribbon on my Mickey Santa Cap!! See Ya there! Travel Safe!!

Ga Girl - YES! I got it yesterday! Thanks a bunch! I've already been memorizing the map :teeth: . Thanks for the tip on where to sit. Glad you said something because I was planning on sitting near the castle. Gotta rethink now.

Everyone have a great day!!

I was debating a trip this Saturday to the MK and try to get over to see the Lodge tree, but too much xmas stuff to do..This will be the first year in several that I havn't seen the tree...oh well...

Kate has now taken to asking me each day how many days till we go to Disney...she likes to count try and count to 50's...ah, to be 5 again!!

Thank you very much Majestic. Lack of sleep will do things to ya. I would like to add more about our trip:
Thursday: We took it easy all day because we knew we would be up late for the Christmas party and I didn't want 2 cranky kids on my hands. We mainly spent the day at Downtown Disney scoping out the things we wanted to get. I ordered my son, who was going to turn 2 on Saturday, an airbrushed Mickey shirt that said "Its my Birthday". I didn't know how he was going to be with a button with a stick pin on the back, so I figured you can't go wrong with a shirt, he can't pull that off and stick himself. Little did I know that it was going to be 59 degrees all day Saturday and I ordered a short sleeve. He ended up wearing his jacket all day. Anyway, we got to the Magic Kingdom early about 5pm in hopes they would let us in early and they did. They didn't tell us to go to Tommorowland like I had read so we just walked around until the park cleared out. The party was the BEST. No waits on anything. I have only seen it like this one other time and that was after 9/11. We stood right under Tinks line for WISHES and got a birdseye view of the whole thing. Wishes is much better than the other show they had. The music really added to it. We got back to the Lodge at 12:30 with 2 rowdy kids that were too tired to sleep, but once the lights went off it didn't take but a minute for everyone to quiet down.
I will post Friday later on, fingers are tired.
