The WL vet status is only given out by the TAG FAIRY....you must believe, in the TAG FAIRY.

I have a question:

If the Lobby of WL is considered the 2nd floor, and I requested the 5th floor, am I really getting the 6th floor, which means the balcony is partial? So then should I request the 4th floor. I have a reserved woods view. Or am I totally confused

whos on first, whats on second, LOL

I know you WL vets have the answer

I just had to take the time to post to this great thread!! I read the first installment when making my plans to visit the lodge this past Feb. We loved the lodge so much that when it was time to make ressies (two weeks after we returned!!), we again opted to stay at the lodge. We are hooked!! I just don't think that anywhere else we stay could even come close to it. Thanks for all of the good information that has been and will continue to be posted for all those newbies and the oldies who haven't been around in awhile!!

Yes, the lobby is considered the 2nd floor. To get to the first floor you either walk down stairs or take the elevator down one level. I think, if I remember correctly, that in the elevator it goes 3rd, lobby (lobby being 2nd), 1st. So, if you want your room to be on the 5th floor, definitely request it, it will be the 5th floor. If you are in the courtyard and looking at the lodge you will definitely see that 5th if 5th. We either request 4th or 5th, always nice views. Hope I didn't confuse you and I helped a little.

Oh, and by the way,

YEAH, YANKEES (this coming from me, who was born and raised in the Bronx). What was even cooler was that my dad was a transit police officer and his district was Yankee Stadium. They had a post was was just above the outfield. When we were little, he used to take us to the games all the time.

Also, nats to my hubby (a Boston fan) (I still love him, though). All last night, while Boston was winning, all he did was taunt me. Wearing his Boston baseball cap. Telling me the Yanks won't win. I told him it wasn't over till it was over. I was right.

We have been trying to compile a room list from posts. It is daunting, therefore PM me your answers, don't want to tie up the thread. If my box is full keep trying. If you have stayed in more then 1 room list them seperate. Thanks for your help to make this the most informed thread.

The first floor under the lobby only is service areas, kitchens, housekkeeping and laundry. If you take the stairs near the south wing there is the door for CM entrance to it. In july when I was wandering around taking notes, I walked in by accident and the look on their faces was schock, LOL I was quickly showed the way out. LOL

Thanks, FloridaCat. Just been so busy, between work and the new puppy, but life is good. Our new puppy, his name is Remington is just the most cutest, precious, mischievious little rascal. We love him so much already. Now Dixie is not lonely when we are at work, she has a brother. God's little gifts are precious and we thank Him.

Just a note, DH and I are heading to Disney tomorrow for the day. Our plans are to stop by the WL for a little while and soak it in, maybe check out the mercantile to see if anything new or Brother Bear stuff is in. If I can help anyone with anything let me know, I will try and search it out.

Also we are stopping by EPCOT to go to the Food and Wine Festival, our first time. My DH's birthday is Monday, 10/20, so this is our way of celebrating. We were going to go to Spoodles but the weather down here is so nice lately we wanted to spend the day outside.

I will try and find a green mickey, and I will be looking for any and will stop and say hi.

off topic....I am looking for a little PD as *IF * I can get a ticket it looks as I will be paying a little visit to the great state of NJ for a VERY SPECIAL Bon Jovi performance next month. So even if you could care less LOL, I would appreciate a little sprinkle for good luck getting a ticket.....

Tardin....you have to sprinkle extra as your punishment..LOL, and because I am a forgiving sort I would like to send you some as well as I see that clock is really getting low....here's to low crowds, great weather and lots of magic !
