I don't think you would be wrong at all. Your mom deserves the best. When my mom was alive we used to really enjoy Disney together. She used to get so silly, just like a kid. Memories are all I have now, but I have the memories.

MAKE MEMORIES WITH YOUR MOM, and do all that you can do to MAKE THEM THE BEST MEMORIES, EVER.

REMEMBER: Without faith, nothing is possible. But with faith, all things are possible. Have faith. I will be hoping for you and sending you tons of Pixie Dust. :D

I say "give it your best shot" theres no harm in asking. Lots of PD coming your way for llots of magical moments with your mom.

I wish my mom was alive. She would have just loved the WL.

And did you know Disney is sponsoring the Daytona 500 this year or at least partially involved? Go to the track website and they have pins to commemorate it on their store. I am ordering a set myself.

So they are sponsoring!!?? I have been wondering after I saw the mechandise on NASCAR.com. I can just see Mickey on a hood (don't think that will happen but maybe at least it will say WDW) Huge Race fan here and love to hear that the season is about to start. Can't wait till they make their way to Atlanta, Darlington, and Talladega. WOOHOO Gentlemen Start Your Engines...:moped:

Just talked to Daytona (just realized that Daytona International Speedway has the intials - DIS, ironic huh) and they said that Disney is not sponsoring the race, it is a marketing partnership and the cars that you see in the pins will be on the track during the parade laps or such.

Here is a link to DaytonaUSA. The car of last year’s winner is on display. Not many people are aware, but the winning car of the 500 is confiscated after the race and kept on display until the next year’s winner. There are movies about the birth of Daytona and NASCAR racing, huge gift shop with all the drivers’ souvenir stuff.
You can drive a NASCAR in an arcade. You can also take a bus ride around the track. So much more then I can list here. No true NASCAR fan can come to Florida and not see this as it is a fun day.
From WDW, take I-4 east to I-95, for just a short distance and get off the International Drive East exit and go 1.5 miles.. It is a 90 minute drive from WDW, if you head out after the morning rush hour, 8:30 AM
Lot of good restaurants in the immediate area. and my fun thing during “Race Week” s to hit Cracker Barrel, Denny’s and the like as the drivers and pit crews come in. I always tell the Hostess to sit me by some. I just love to hear them shoot the Bull. The unknowing does not recognize most of them as they just dress in a T-shirt and Jeans, but it is a blast. Even had many start talking to us as they are very fan friendly, unlike the overpaid Baseball Players that come down to spring training.
When we can hear the Rolling Thunder, we know spring is not far off. You can hear it from any place in town.

Betsy,

Is this a riddle? Are we suppose to guess? ( I have never seen it before.) But guessing that maybe be it's located at the Living Seas..I had heard that Disney was going to introduce "Finding Nemo Theme to the attraction. The rocks look familiar. ::yes::

Woohoo! Getting close eh! You are psyched! :)

P.S. Was this pic taken in front of Living Seas? I heard there was a Nemo display there but we never got to spin by and check it out.

That Nemo statue is in Epcot right in front of the Living Seas!! In fact we were just there on Monday! We just returned from 9 nights at the Lodge - we stayed in Concierge - upgrading at check in. I was fortunate enough to run into Majestic during my stay while he was replacing the memory box! Hi Majestic!
Unfortunatly we didn't make it out to the memory box because I seemed to have misplaced my directions!:( We had a really great time and it was especially hard to leave and come back to the cold weather! We stayed in room 7059 (a bunk bed room) and if you looked to the left we had a view of most of the EWP at night. Very nice and the Concierge staff was just wonderful and made us feel very much at home! We arrived on 1/11 and I was excited to see the Christmas decorations still up in the Lodge - they came down that night, but I was so happy to be able to see them. Any questions just fire away and I will try to answer them!

PS - Wishes is SPECATULAR! We watched them several times during our stay and on one magical evening my husband, myself and our two boys were lucky enough to be riding in the front of the monorail and we we delayed on the track to Magic Kingdom for a short while so another monorail could unload when Wishes began! It was such an amazing view to see right in front of us from the monorail! Truly breathtaking and we could not have timed that even if we tried!

Wow posted so close together yet on the same wavelength! :) Scary.... ::yes::

Hay, I'm a good guesser...:bounce:

This display wasn't there on my last Trip in November, but on our Trip in September see did see a robotic Nemo in front of The living Seas. We got some great pictures.
