Hi, yes yesterday I had a terrible time trying to stay connected to DIS.

I just had a vision of Liv2cdworld being hit with a ton of PIXIE DUST her little arms and legs waving about, Head and body completely covered. Seriously Liv2cdworld I kept checking all morning for any report from you and kept you in my prayers.

More PIXIE DUST coming your way :duck: :wizard:

Sure, now I'm zipping right along and it seems that MAGICinMYHEART and myself are the only two here on the thread! Magic, I wonder if we will be able to get on later when everyone is here???

Majestic-nice tag!:Pinkbounc

Tig-girl

Probably not, I have been reading Delswife's trip reports if you haven't read them you sould. They are GREAT she makes you laugh, then cry, get angry (SIL will make you angry) I call her "SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED" then she'll stop and make you want more.

I wanted to tell everyone I still couldn't get the WL for Nov 14th friday night, so I made ressie for Allstar Sports for that one night and added a night at WL on the end of ressies. YEA!!!

I will continue trying for Friday right-up until last minute. NO RACK RATES it's my Quest.

OH!! Tig-girl that's one way I can afford all the trips (Florida Resident Specials) I never pay rack-rates. Well I did once at Boardwalk Villas.

I'll have to check those trip reports out.....
I've been trying to do other things that I have put off (like paying the bills  ) so I haven't been reading the other threads at all.
I may have to enlist your expertise in never paying rack rates for my April trip. So far, not a deal in site for us! I'm getting scared!:scared:

Tig-girl and MAGICinMYHEART - thanks again for the support. I'll tell ya - all that PD and I think I'm good for a few years :)

In the event you haven't heard in the other post, all is well - nothing was found.

Fred, I would PAY for a copy of the CD you create - as would a lot of people on this thread. Hey - here's a thought, we could pay you for copies and you can continue to support the WL webshots site without taking the money out of your own pocket. :teeth:

Anyhow, I'll speak for myself when I say that I'll gladly send you a blank CD as well as a donation for your time :)

'night all. Boy, I feel so much better :wave2:

Fred,

If you get a CD of the music together, we would gladly pay for it. That would be a great idea.

Every time we hear the music of the Wilderness Lodge it brings us back to our honeymoon. It was our honeymoon when we first stayed at the lodge. We loved listening to the music as we would go back to the room. ::yes::

Don't think I'm crazy, but................

I cannot for the life of me remember the soundtrack you are all talking about! Neither can DH! Could it be that there was Christmas music playing instead since it was the holiday season? I just don't remember any of the soundtrack mentioned.

What do you think???

I read somewhere that the WL doesn't even assign rooms untill check in...Is this true?

I won't be arriving untill 10PM!! Should I even try to fax the the room assigner a request to be assigned a room or will they give my room to someone else who checks in earlier? I figure I will be stuck with whatever is left if I don't try a request.

I dont want anything major. Just TWO beds because I am traveling with my father. A view of something would be nice.

Anyway, should I take my chances and fax a request, should I just call CRO, or should I just take my chance?

What would you do?

I would fax my request, and notify them of your late arrival...you didn't say what type of room you have requested...standard, woods, courtyard, or concierge, that may make a difference.

GOOD LUCK, and PIXIE DUST :wizard:

For those of you interested in Wilderness Lodge Music, for obvious reasons, I could not charge for the CD because of copyright issues.

I'm not quite done with the compilation as of yet. I have quite a few songs but there are still some missing that I am having a H-A-R-D time finding.

I can tell you this, with the 12 or so songs I already have, closing my eyes and listening to them makes me feel like I am sitting comfortably on a couch in the lobby at WL! It's really scarey how much detail I can "almost" see within my mind.

Anyway, if interested in the music, send me an email to wdwwl@majesticnetworks.net.

I posted that they assign rooms at check in. That was our experience in Sep. I would take MAGICinMYHEART advice and fax a room request to the room assigner. The room would have to be in the view you booked with CRO, Woodsview, Courtyard.

If the Lodge is not full, you can request a particular room and see if it is available at check in. So you have three options.

As far as arriving late, they are checking in there all hours of the day so I don't thnk that is a concern.

The one fact I know for sure is if you are not happy with the room you have, go to the desk in the next morning and request a change. I know they will do whatever they can to accomadate you. Relax and enjoy the Magic.

Thanks MAGICinMYHEART and FloridaCat.

I have a woods view room. So I guess I will be looking at the woods!!!:hyper:

I think I will take your advice and fax a request. I just thought of something else I would like... a full balcony!!! I'm not to worried about it Because the whole point is.... we will be in WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!!!:Pinkbounc

With a woods view you could request a MK view over the otter pond. That way you maybe able to even view Wishes Fireworks at night from MK.

Request room number 5032 to 5026. These are Woodsview and you will have a good view of the FW. You are close to the elevator, no noise, and easy access to the Courtyard, lobby and Roaring Forks. You will have an open bacony with table and chairs.
Do not be afraid to ask the CM's for anything, they are what make the Lodge so special.

PD on your trip and let us know about all the fun you had.

Fred - Maybe you could share a list of the songs you are needing and all of us could be on the lookout.

Room Request? - What's a good room to request for a Standard room?

dreaminofdisney - " I'm not to worried about it Because the whole point is.... we will be in WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!!!" - I totally agree. My DS9 and I have never been to WL, so any room will be a magical moment!

Here is a link to the list.
During our September stay, DD wanted to buy me a souvenir and I said I would like to have a CD of the lobby music. The CM said there is no such thing because of copyright issues, but was kind enough to print me a list.

Liv2CdWorld.........glad everything is ok on your end!!

Fred, I understand that you wouldn't want to "charge".... but donations are perfectly legal;) I feel the need to make a before year end donation!::yes::

These are the songs I appear to be missing for the Wilderness Lodge Lobby Music. Any help is appreciated.

I'm already $100 into this so go easy on me ok. :teeth:

oh Boy look what I started about the WL music!!

Fred..I would love a CD! Im going to PM you.

I have another question: How do I get to GF from WL.. Can I take the boat? Also, can I get to the contemporary by boat as well?? I have PS at both places.

Woo,, my clock is ticking down

OHHH Breakthrough.. Remember my dilemma: Do I rent a car or do I take DW trans.

I am going to take DW trans. First time ( and Ive been to DW over 10 times, I lost count). Im taking a town car from airport. Then if I get totally beside myself and have to get to somewhere quick, Ill take a cab. Problem solved. I have friends that are meeting up with me in the middle of the week, so they offered to drive me back to the airport. That will save me money that I can use towards food, etc.

Now Im going to Fax my room request

:earseek:   :earseek: :earseek:
