So, my drama filled life is continuing. Someone's space heater caught fire in my office over the weekend. Very scary but everyone is safe and the sprinklers apparently did their job. My house is finally dry and almost back together and now my work place is flooded. Ugghh. I already had enough work for three people and the damage is going to result in a fair amount of stuff needing to be redone because paper loses to fire and water and we aren't a particularly paperless office. Scheduled to go in for my salvage appointment soon so just going to answer the QOTDs now. Will try to be back to chat later.

Wishes.....
as Disney fans we sing about them, watch fireworks themed around them, and watch movies FULL of them! But we all have real wishes... deep in our hearts.... wishes for weight loss and health. But one of my favorite sayings that I like to share with my WW members is this....

As much as we love DISNEY WISHES, we know that weight loss and fitness takes more than just wishing! For the start of April I had you share your goals and HOPEFULLY your plans to reach those goals (but if you haven't done that yet, there is still time!). And then over the weekend we talked about PLANNING to commit to one positive change for every day in the month.
QOTD for Monday, April 4, 2016:
Have you planned or scheduled your healthy meals and exercise/workouts for this week? If so, share a bit about how you do this (i.e. prep meals ahead or make an appointment with your trainer or put your packed gym back in the car).... and if not, why not? Are you just WISHING that the healthy eating and exercise will happen??
I'm mostly WISHING! Not surprisingly, my WISHES aren't really working! I have kept up the no soda pledge though and my step average is 12,042/day so far so I'm proud of my compliance with those goals.
This is something I've struggled with since the beginning (and certainly brought up here before). I do so well when I plan. And I'm an über planner in just about every other area of my life. But I struggle with planning meals. And grocery shopping. And I really need to accept that three healthy meals and two snacks aren't going to magically appear from the sky every day. I've tried Blue Apron and wasn't a fan but maybe I need to try regular grocery delivery. I'll put it on my list of things to do as soon as my kitchen is finally fixed.

Green lightsabers................ if you know anything about the Star Wars universe, you know that green lightsabers are carried by GOOD GUYS.... Yoda and Luke, to name two.
Green lightsabers aren't the ONLY good "greens" though! How about spinach, kale, or bok choy.... green grapes, green cabbage, or green apples?
Name two or three of your favorite GREENS (green Skittles and green M&Ms do NOT count!) and how you prepare them! If you struggle with greens (or any vegetables) don't despair ...... keep up with our answers and perhaps you will find a new vegetable or a new way to prepare them that suits you!
Ooh! I like green things! Brussels sprouts are my favorite. I slice them in half, toss them with about a teaspoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper and either put them on the air fryer or in the oven at high heat until the edges are caramelized and crispy. Add a little balsamic glaze and I can eat them like popcorn. I also really like roasted broccoli and asparagus.
In the warmer months, I like either a green smoothie for breakfast (Costco power greens, coconut water, pineapple, frozen berries, hemp hearts, avocado) or green juice for a mid-afternoon snack (power greens, cucumber, celery, carrots, lemon, Apple, ginger).
When I do things like plan my meals, I often have a giant green salad for lunch - spinach, baby kale, romaine, cucumbers, hearts of palm, avocado, lemon juice and olive oil topped off with chicken, salmon, or tuna.
Last of all are green snacks: Granny Smith apples and dill pickles (not together)!
