Lights of Winter

I want to believe... but I'd like for the rumor to be based on more than just a pin.

It would take more than what looks like a normal holiday arbor.

SO ............. what about all the recent reports that DHS will have two new holiday offerings this year.

- High speed on the finishing off of the now Grand Ave area
- Expectation of the walls down and area open for Taphouse by year end
- Large number of what appeared to be electrical panels being installed on the back of the remaining SoA buildings
- Large open area in front of these buildings open to the Muppet Courtyard buildings

While it would be smaller, no reason Disney can't offer a Holiday Lights offering in DHS again throughout Muppet Courtyard (remember the rumors) and Grand Avenue (fairly good sized open space), maybe even Commissary Lane ....

Just a thought (and wishful thinking).

That would be good except the top of the pin says Epcot, sorry to burst your bubble

I was a big fan of LoW, and I say that the curlicues near the base and the floral shapes on the upper panels definitely match LoW. And it says Holidays Around the World.

I'm not saying it's coming back, but IMO that's clearly LoW on the pin, not a generic holiday arbor.

Man, I would LOVE that! I have only ever been one time at Christmas, but the lights (at DHS and Epcot) were amazing...very easy to get in the spirit, even if it was 80 degrees and there were palm trees!

Mgm is in really no shape for this...and they wouldn't be real keen on the 1 hour nightly crunch that generates no spending either.

That's ultimately what killed Osborne...it got people in there but they didn't buy anything.

Something like that might work for the next two years, but there is no way they are going to want to congest that street with people watching lights when it's the main into Star Wars Land.

I hear you both. I think it's strange they are bothering with signage, months of work on this area, the open pointless space, a hidden Taphouse .... when there is so much more important stuff to be working on. It just seems they have something up their sleeve.

And all the "sites" are saying there are two 2 NEW Holiday things coming to DHS. I could see a holiday show like Pixar Music but it seems like alot of focus is happening in that space over there. I don't think it's out of reach for a park that is about to lose another attraction.

Wait...are those "insiders"? 2 weeks after they announced dumping 5+ billion in capex in their parks?

Wow!!! I'm so glad disney loves me and is my best friend!!

No Disney officially announced two new Holiday offerings at DHS during their Christmas in July event earlier this week.
