My DS4 and DS6 are excited about seeing this show. Can anyone tell us about it? Is it worth seeing? Thanks :ccat: :goofy: :figment: paw:

The show is a car stunt show - and it is really good! They zoom these little cars (about 5 or 6 of them) around the "stage" so close to each other! There are also stunts involving people falling, fire, and a jet-ski. It is full of action - I think your kids will love it!

We got fastpasses for it - but the stadium holds a lot of people, so don't be alarmed at how many people are in line!

Have fun!

<<MINOR SPOILER ALERT>>

Its BIG.
Its FAST.
Its AMAZING to see these cars rocketing around the "set" in total precision!

There are some motorcycles, jet-skis, and speedboats used in the show as well.

Humor, excitement and some fire (MAJOR fire) and explosion effects too.

Herbie the "Love Bug" even makes some apperances.

My DW and I are not a racing or auto fans at all, but we really ENJOYED this show!

It gets BUSY, so be sure to get FP's as soon as you can for this show and then return at least 30-40 minutes BEFORE the show-time listed.

We also enjoyed the show but...........we were there in July and sitting through that show was the hottest I felt the whole week!! Unlike Indiana Jones or B&B, the arena is in the middle of asphalt. There are no trees or other plants around and it was HOT. Part of the seating is shaded and we were in that part of the seating but it was still really hot.

Perhaps you're not going during summer but when I think of LMA Stunt Show I think HEAT!!

Could you tell us what part of the arena is partially shaded ?

If you go into the area - to find the shaded arena - do you walk to the left or to the right ? Do you try to get close to the bottom on the arena or toward the upper part of the arena?

Thanks for helping find the best seats at Lights-Camera-Action at MGM Studios.

We saw it in December. My boys, 11 and 8 and even my DH...won't mention his age, loved it.

A friend of ours went to WDW for her honeymoon in January and she and her DH hated it.

To each their own. It's kind of campy, but fun.

Hi pooh2001,

Here is what I remember. Everyone went in one que. They had people fill up the arena from the top and work down to the bottom. The top portion of the arena is shaded - guessing about 2/3 shaded. So, you don't want to be among the last to come in because they get the bottom of the seating, closest to the "stage", unshaded seating. Also, you can try to position your party in the path of one of the fans but the CMs direct you to keep moving over so that may be difficult.

I honestly thought I might pass out at one point. My DS had one of those little battery powered pocket fans that mists water. That was a huge help!!

I think part of what made it all so hot was we had to wait in an unshaded que before we went in. I really think Disney needs to make a few changes to cool that area down!!

Hope this helps!

Your kids will probably love it. Mine did. DH liked it. Personally, I was impressed with the precision driving, but got bored with it after the first 10 minutes. It's worth it for the kids, though.

I might be in a minority but i found the show to be boring! we waited in line for what seemed to be forever, to go sit in stands will a million people and wait again!!!... and after the show started my brother and I were bored probally after the first 5 minutes, now i'mm 27 and hes 31 so its not like we are young to get bored so quickly. The cars were fast, and what they did took skill, but it was just soo long and they did the same stunts over and over. I wasn't impressed. I will not be waiting in line for that one again... anyone agree with me?

My thoughts exactly. But I'm sure your kids will enjoy.

If you go to the earliest show(should be before 12) the sun will be behind the bleachers and it won't be as hot. I was so hot at the show I went to last June that it didn't matter that some of the stunts were cool I felt pretty miserable and I live in Florida and had cold water with me.

I should have mentioned if you are there during the summer, definitely go to the earliest show. We were at the 11:00 and cannot IMAGINE what the heat would be like at the later shows!!!

My kids liked it ok. I think it is about 10 to 15 minutes too long. I got bored. The stuff they do is neat but I just think it is too long. For us, seeing it once was enough. We didn't regret doing it but it isn't anything that we look forward to for every trip.

We liked the show and it kept the kids totally entertained. They loved watching the cars jump and spin. Now if they can forget that when they start driving, I will be happy.

I'm with you on this one! However, I probably would have found this exciting when I was a kid. (so to the original poster, yes you're kids will probably think it's cool) It's kinda like seeing fireworks when you're a kid. They were like the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. Now it's just like "woo hoo...fireworks.....Let's go on Tower of Terror!!" :woohoo:

First time I saw this attraction was in DLP and I was experiencing side effects from food poisoning at the time. (DLP no more!!) So naturally I didn't enjoy the show too much. When it opened in DW, I thought, maybe I'll like it this time since I'm not sick. Well, I was wrong. IMO it was kinda boring.

We really enjoyed the show. I didn't find it boring at all. DS, 8, really was into it and so was DH, who actually wanted to go back and see it a second time. We didn't but they both really liked it. :)
