Lights! Motor! Asian?--Feb 2010 Part II. 11/6-Pix, part 2. Page 199.

Thought you might appreciate that - wish I had "known" you when I was in Santa Monica - I could have taken some pics of "Peeps on the Pier"!:lmao:
Funny that you should mention "Peeps on the Pier," I just happened to have some recent photos of some folks you may (and may not) recognize. These are some photos of my best man, Josh, his wife Joanne, and their daughter, Jordan (yes, I think they thought of a certain person when researching "J" names). Oh, and one of the "J's" is an infamous poofer that even puts Jordan to shame...but I won't say which "J" to protect the guilty.:confused3

Hmmm, good role model? You can be the judge....:confused3

(And someday I'll find a photo I saw of you drinking while watching over Erin from one of our long past WDW/DCL trips. One of my greatest fears of Uncle Jordan's Baby Sitting Services).

Is this the pic?

Whew, I finally caught up on page 22 (10 more then when I left late last night at say 12 am PST)....utterly ridiculous. Thanks everyone for the compliments on the sunrise photos. Not hard to do when the scenery is so peaceful. I'll add personal comments too, but I'll try to tread (and thread) lightly...:thumbsup2

Yeah, I think that might be it (or one of many more that I'm trying to put out of my mind). But for the record, you're not the worst child care provider....do you recall when my dad took Dylan to the balcony railing on our DCL stateroom? That was the first time I had to ground my dad (and send him to his room) from baby sitting duties:scared1:

I do recall that....

Ahh, finally, the history of the tongue.

I think for me, it's a squint......My DBF and I have this squinty photo from everywhere! At christmas, at the amusement park, at bbqs, it's everywhere!

The Ross picture is hilarious. That is one of my all-time favorite Friends episodes. :thumbsup2

A look back at the tongue.

Many of you have asked what's up with the tongue. I have responded within individual posts but not explained overall the history behind the tongue. It all started many, many years ago. I don't even recall the exact year. Wendy, Derek and I were at WDW together. When we returned from the trip and got the pictures back (remember those days? 1-hour photo places, Costco, avantix film?), we noticed in a character picture that Derek had stuck his tongue out. It was very funny. When people said to make a funny face, I just naturally started doing it because I thought it was funny...Well the tongue became it's own thing....

Here's the earliest known picture of the tongue....2002 at Mama Melrose's

Hmmm, I don't remember being the instigator of the tongue, now I have to live with that infamy....:rotfl2: But I do recall someone ever whining about never getting a chance to eat at Mama Melrose's and then finally going there and being somewhat let down about the food quality. But fortunately, I didn't hear anymore complaints about not going there anymore for dinner.:rotfl:

 Jordan, it looks like you're sporting a stud in that one... is it just the photo or was your tongue actually pierced at one time?!
Kathy
I think its a bubble from all the years of built up drool Jordan's developed at the sound of Mama Melrose's. Honestly the food was not memorable at all.:cool2:

Hahahaha, I think I've started to couple it with the tongue too! For a double whammy :cool1:

For example....

Yes, we were in a moving vehicle (a quadri-cycle), but it wasn't moving very fast, as most of you who have tried these should know...I know there is somewhere in WDW where you can rent these. Boardwalk?

Ok, time for me to hit the hay. (it's 2:25am for me! :scared1:) See y'all tomorrow! :wave2:

Boardwalk and CSR? Perhap POR too....

nite!!!

See what you miss out while you're sleeping?! Great sunrise pics :thumbsup2
Thanks. I loved waking up to beautiful sunrises at BLT. Wendy wished we had the Magic Kingdom view but I wouldn't trade the Bay Lake view any day of the week!

I love pictures where you can sorta see the curvature of the earth. cool.
Yeah, I wish I had a better zoom lens (I have a cheapy that I used to use with my Nikon film camera) so I could get more of a distant shot of the sunrises. But maybe by next time I'm there:thumbsup2

That reminds me! It looks like Dylan is starting to be more and more like a certain uncle of his. Did you see that photo of him at Soarin'? :rotfl2:
Uh, thanks.....I'm just dreading the day that Dylan starts sticking out his tongue when we take family photos....then Jordan will be banned from our family trips....:rotfl:

Derek's pictures are gorgeous! Bee-u-tifull!
Thanks. Getting back into the digital photography thingy.

Yikes to say the least! We have a Fredricksburg here in Texas too. We traveled when Tyler was only about four months old, and Mackie about the same age, so yea...a little crazy, but doable for sure.
Yeah, we seem to always travel near times of human tragedy. One year we went to WDW and DCL a week after Hurricane Floyd. That was our first DCL cruise and our trip to Castaway Cay was cancelled since the island was wiped out!:scared1: Then we travelled to Philadelphia, Washington DC and NYC a week after 9-11. No one was flying then and we saw the devastation of the World Trade Center buildings first hand. Unfortunately, none of my 9-11 photos are digitally scanned (and most didn't come out that great). And then we travelled during the DC sniper shooting in 2002 as previously noted.

I think folks may want to think twice about booking travel with us or at least when we're travelling:confused3
