Word up J Dawg!
Work was off the chain today with all the ERT deployments for Hurricane Alex. I coped with caffeine and have gone from jitters to giddy.
The map won't open on my berry. Which makes me berry sad. But I shall endeavor to study it with rapt attention when I am on my PC. Well not literally on it. The downward pull of my Budhaesque physique would crack it like an egg for crying out loud. But you know what I mean.
All of which I say to wish you a pleasant evening and a good nights rest. Which I shall now attempt to emulate.
Great I found the party! Now I need to figure out the topic...
OH, I get it, it's about road tripping. No offense, but I am SO done with those for a long while!!![]()
And I should sign off too soon. Lots to do today yet. Which then, should give you plenty of time to write another update!![]()
Chapter 38. Cross Country Trip
As most of you know, I may be traveling back East in the next few months to go into a recovery program. The program is located in Northern Kentucky and I will be there 6 months. I would need to be accepted into the program, but it sounds pretty promising.
At first, it didn't sound like i would be able to drive back, but now it looks like I will be driving back East. I would like to take my time doing so. So I will probably leave myself a week to get back there. All this means that I can visit people along the way. I kind of have it my head a few places I want to stop, but it's not set in stone in any way, shape or form yet.
here is a link to the map:

In other news, I think I've told you that my cousin works for Pixar. He did some work on TS3 and is working on Cars2 as we speak. I asked him if I can take a tour of the Pixar campus and he said sure. So I think I am going up in a few weeks!!!! Pictures will be taken.....
Could you get me one of John Wayne next trip, pretty please?![]()

Yes! They hear me laughing and ask all about you-now my daughter wants me to go through your enormous TRs to find pics of your family and others doing the pose!
Hi Jordan and fellow Disers, I have been away since May from the internet. Summer is our crazy season at the restaurant with graduations and summer parties. We sold 648 racks of ribs on Fathers Day!
We catered two weddings on June 5th and headed to Disneyworld that night at 10:00. My family of 7 only made it 6 hours when the van we purchased for this trip started acting up. Long story short, we made it to Georgia somewhere in the swamplands and had to rent an SUV for the family and 7 suitcases, 2 coolers, and 7 carry- ons. We had a great trip, but our van is still in Georgia getting repaired! We have to fly down there and drive it home only to sell it!
We did take some pics for Jordan in front of the Chinese laundry/cafe which I will post when I can. I have never been to Disney when it was so busy. We usually go in October or the first week of June-it was hot and busy. Unfortunately, people are reading their guidebooks because arriving before opening was nuts-hour waits and 30 minutes to get a fastpass! We did use our special fps from give a day get a day, which were awesome. I cannot wait to read Fauntelroys Tr to see how he fared that week.
I am glad to be back reading your Tr Jordan, I missed you and your antics so much.
Welcome back Kathy! I was wondering where you were! Great to hear that business is booming! Glad you had a great trip - love the photos you posted!![]()
