So sorry you have to go to that length for your dog's comfort. While our retriever doesn't like our Roomba, he has been able to co-exist. I wonder how he'll take to the wet floor washing Roomba!

I wish I could get the roomba to work in our house. I bought one but had to send it back to the store. Our living room is too small with too much furniture and it just kept going in the same places.

I see Shark has a similar one now, saw it advertised on TV a couple days ago. I wouldn't mind having one, but it's a step down from our office into the family room and if I tried using it in the office it would probably just keep falling off the step. Unless they have a floor level change sensor or something? Not sure they do. But it would be nice to turn it on and just let it do its thing.

Off topic a little, but my coworker (my actualy coworker, not an urban legend kind of thing) has a Roomba. She left her dog for a few hours to go shopping and left the Roomba. There had been no issues before (with either dog or Roomba). Well, the dog was apparently sick and could not hold it like he usually can. When she came home, there was dog excrement all over the floor.

My mom got us one about 8 years ago. She never knows what to get us for Christmas, say that, and said, even if it doesn't work it should entertain the cat!

My mom got a Roomba a couple of months ago and it's great. We have three dogs and six cats and they aren't scared of the Roomba at all. They hate the regular vacuum though. It's helped keep away a lot of pet hair. We run it first thing in the morning while we are getting ready for the day and eating breakfast.

With Roomba, if it’s small or graduated, she will be able to go up or down, but if not, she won’t fall (she won’t fall down stairs).
