Can we bring my son's life jacket in our carry on bag? He only likes to use his own at the pool.

Why do you think that a life jacket would not be allowed in carry-on luggage?

Does the life jacket contain any liquids, gels or aerosols?

Does the life jacket have any sharp blades attached that might be used as weapons?

Is the life jacket larger than the maximum size for a carry-on bag?

If the answer is NO to all 3 questions, then there is no reason it can't be carried onto an airliner.
