Did I miss something? Why do you do the TSM run at 9 if there's 8 AM EMH?

You didn't miss anything, just poorly worded notes lol! More a reminder that rope drop is at 9 so to get there as close to 8 for EMH as possible.

Which will be interesting with my crew! It's our first early day....It may just be the E's and I. We will see.

So, just so I'm clear on this for myself: If the park opens at 8:00, they DO open TSM then right?? You can ride it before the 9:00ers?

I believe so, I wouldn't know about it if it weren't for Mary Ellen, it's not mentioned on the WL board, but it sounds like it's at 9am everyday. I don't think you need to sign up, just show up? But...plan to confirm all of that at check in. I mean Ranger Joe must have a day off, right?

It's not everyday of the week, but its most days. On the WL weekly sheet that they hand out at check-in they only had it listed on one or two days, but Ranger Joe told me its "most days". Because I was the only one who showed up on a Friday Ranger Joe asked me if I wanted to do anything special. I asked to go to the roof. He took me on the tour and then told me to return to the lobby before 1200 and look for him. He said he would take me and anyone in my party up to the roof. Truly a special, magical moment. It is completely free and anyone can take the tour. He points out some really interesting trivia in the lodge and in the villas. I really recommend it.

And Cynthia, you know I wouldn't leave you hanging without some pictures of the roof. I am so busy right now getting ready for the OBX that I haven't gotten to update nearly as much as I wanted.

Great info! Hopefully there is on on the Sat but if not, I'll figure it out, it is a must do!

I don't usually do the EMHs, but I'm wondering...they don't start the fastpass machines until the normal park opening right? I mean, you can get there right at 9 and be first in line, ahead of the herd, but you can't get any while you're there for that EMH hour at 8. Is that correct?

Not a clue but, I figure we can ride it once and grab a FP right at 9 when machines open??? I really don't know having never done an AM EMH before. At night they reset them when EMH starts, IF they plan to offer them and it's a crapshoot as to which ones will have them and which won't, we couldn't figure out a rhyme or reason to it. FP window is 2 hours right?

I'm not sure what you mean by window. If it's the time (beginning and end) that you have to use them, the tickets will have a 1-hour window. But, Disney policy is to allow them any time after the beginning time, even way later into the day or evening. If you mean, how soon the beginning time will be for the first fastpasses to be spit out for the day, I think it's 9:30 or 9:45 am. (The earliest I've gotten was about 9:50, but I'm almost never right at rope drop.)

Oh, that's even completely different yet.

I think it's the earlier of, 2 hours from when you got the fastpass, or the ride time on your current fastpass. The fastpasses will say on them when you can get another one.

I'm not sure how long its supposed to be down. ITSWAA will be down our entire trip which bums me out. Not as much as TSM but still, a bummer. And apparently there is scaffolding all over WL but who knows what it will be like when we get there.

we have great days at DHS too....I think for us it harkens back to MGM on our first night staying on property, ever, and just a really magical night.

I've seen MSEP...in DL, back in 2001! So, it's been awhile



I can't wait! And apparently I don't need to stress about getting it in before it's gone, since it won't be gone!

Yes well, it wasn't until mid trip last year I realized there was a "window" I thought you had to use them, before you could get new ones. DUH! And I'm not even blonde!

Though my hair was markedly more so at the time.

Jeff didn't read the fine print either. We'd always gone off season before that so didn't have much need for them.

Pretty funny in retrospect, not so much at the time. Despite the one "9" day, I can't IMAGINE the crowds being like Presidents week was last year. We will see though.
