Travel Channel had a "Christmas at Disney" show and the food at the LTT before MVMCP seemed to have been served family style in that program. My sister said that she ate there last December, just a regular park day, and thinks that the food was served in a buffet. Which is correct? We want to go to MVMCP in December and eat either at the GF, the character buffet, or if it's sitdown, the votes are for LTT.

I was able to get PS for 6, the night of the MVMCP on Dec. 11th.

Did I miss something? How were you able to get it so far out? Is it not 90 days for MVMCP nights or something?

It's 90 days out for all the other restaurants but for some reason the Liberty Tree Tavern is taking ps now. I just called and got a ps for MVMCP, LTT is the only restaurant that is open AFTER the park closes to the regular public on MVMCP nights. So if you get a ps for say 5:30pm, you can sit down and eat dinner while they are clearing out the park and getting ready for MVMCP, since I would imagine Main Street is closed so they can decorate this works out really well.

Yes, it was interesting that they booked the dinner seating even before I bought the tickets! Perhaps the dinner seating goes fast, and since it was available, she booked it immediately and then took the CC # for the MVMCP.

I forgot to ask for the price of the dinners, does anyone know that offhand?

Since they begin to let you into the MK around 4PM, we've found it good to make dining ressies in the park. Once we didn't, and we were entering the park closer to the 7PM start of the party, and it was so much like a mass of humanity walking toward Tomorrowland, I just didn't like it. Mom is 85, and it seemed just a bit frightful to walk in the crowd. We enjoy the party much more just leaving the dinner and beginning the party. Some of our group have never been to WDW, this will be their first experience in any park there!
