Liberty Tree Tavern

We love it for lunch and make a point to go every trip. The entrees we've tried (burger, pilgrims feast, pot roast, salads) have all been good. Plus they have the best dessert on property, ooey gooey toffee cake. It's ooey gooey perfection

It is yummy, and there is a lot of it! I miss the characters there, but I still go without it being a character meal!

We always go for dinner and lunch every trip. I saved a space for Skipper Canteen during our trip next month but after reading the reviews, we decided to have a second lunch at LTT instead. And yes, I will be ordering Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake twice!

The food is still delicious but the dinner menu has changed recently. We weren't crazy about the Johnny Appleseed cake being switched to a tart - which to us seemed more like a bar type dessert now.

Our Recommendations, even though it is AYCTE:
. . . appys:... Declaration Salad
. . . entree:.. Carved Beef
. . . dessert:. Johnny Appleseed's Cake
.
NOTE1: The dinner at LTT is pleasant and a nice way to spend some time in small dining
areas. The food is above average and, for WDW, priced reasonably. The pork loin is tender
and delicious. The carved beef usually rolls off your fork. Turkey-is-turkey, so not much to
add. Apple Cake is nice and tasty -- it's too bad the lunch gooey coffee cake isn't on the
dinner menu! REALLY gooey. Fortunately, there are no more characters at dinner. There
are enough character meals in MK, and it does not need LTT with characters.
.
NOTE2: The lunch at LTT is pleasant and a nice way to spend time in air conditioning. Food
is above average and, for WDW, priced reasonably. Try Crab and Spinach Dip for two, the
New England Pot Roast, then the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. There are no stellar eats within
MK for price vs food quality, but this is probably the best of the lunch in-park restaurants.
We enjoy the lunch more than the all-you-can-eat Dinner. The dinner food seems a little
bland to us compared to the lunch. Besides, for smaller appetites, lunch is better to share.

LTT is delicious for both lunch & dinner. I know lunch is more popular here, but I like the all you can eat dinner. Its so good! :goodvibes

I'm with you on this one and agree... I love the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake they serve at lunch for dessert but I much prefer the dinner menu and the all you can eat Patriots Meal served family style. The Johnny Appleseed's Cake is pretty decent as well for dinner. :thumbsup2

Loving these reviews! We're going to WDW in August for our 20th anniversary and I want to spend the actual anniversary date in MK, ending with a good spot for Wishes. Their family style dinner sounds perfect for our family that day!
