Liberty Tree tavern

Havent been to the dinner since they made it a character meal but we went to lunch there on our last visit and it was great. Our server was really nice and the food was good.

We've only eaten lunch there. We really like it and have returned and will eat there in the future.

Next time we'd like to try the character dinner.

Give it a try!

LTT is a must for us every trip. The lunch menu is much more diverse and higher quality, although it is not a character meal. The characters at dinner are a hoot. The food at dinner is fixed - turkey, ham, salad, veggies, etc.

Most of the time we have lunch there, with a dinner thrown in every couple of years.

Phenomenal A-plus! Okay...that's an exaggeration...(slight)...but it did become our family's favorite. We went in May...watched the parade...took a ride on the riverboat...and returned for a 4:10 p.s. for dinner.
It was a hot day and the unlimited lemonades were a huge hit. The turkey and stuffing were great...the rolls, side dishes...all very good.
Character interaction is one of the best at WDW. And the whole experience of being seating is typical classic Disney.
Hostesses dressed in early American costumes shout out "Hear Ye, Hear Ye...now seating the Smith Family of Ohio!" (which answered my son's question as to why they wanted to know what state we were from when we checked in!)
Please don't go to Disney and NOT experience this place!

It is great! I ate there twice last March and intend to eat there several times in December - especially since I am staying at a MK resort.

I'd give the food a B, and the characters an A+. The atmosphere is excellent! I'm looking forward to our dinner there on Halloween night...right before MNSSHP!

For lunch, does anyone know what desserts they have? This former New Englander would love to find a place that serves nice, warm Indian Pudding with ice cream on it.

The characters are Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip, & Dale. They really are great. One year Chip did the hula with my daughter, and last May, Goofy actually spoke! You should see the surprised looks on their faces in the picture!

We ate at LTT character dinner, in January 2002, and loved it. The food was very good. The salad with strawberry viniagrette?? was wonderful. Also, the bread with butter, turkey and dressing and the marinated flank steak were very good. The mac and cheese was just stouffer's mac but still good. I heard they changed the ham to a pork loin I think and I have not been there since the change. We really enjoyed it and the character interaction. We will definately do this again. Enjoy!

I've booked a dinner PS for our trip in a few days. Thanks for the info.
How about you Augustheather97, what do you think?

We ate there last month and I really liked it! It will be a do again place on my next trip!

We had dinner there last week and loved it. We were a group of 9 and they sat us at two tables (5 and 4) next to each other. The food was very good. The pork loin tastes like ham, but it does have a couple of bones. The turkey and stuffing was excellent and the vegetables were also very good. The flank steak is the same as they serve at Garden Grill and it is just awesome. The only possible negative is that desert isn't included.

Minnie is dressed in a long blue dress and looks just beautiful. The character interaction was great, even with our big group that wanted so many combinations of pictures.

I highly recommend it, and we will go back!

We eat there almost ever trip. We do both the lunch and Character dinner. Lately, we have just done the Character meal as my son expects to see them there now and it is a lot easier on us if they are present.

I feel the food is good and it is an excellent value as price vs quality goes.

Been there, done thatm going back!

To Alexandra UK - you get mashed potatoes (really good!) and "garden veg", which I think was carrots and maybe broccoli. There's no brown gravy like we know it! Not a hint of Bisto in sight! Maybe we could teach the WDW chefs a thing or two LOL!

DD (10) and I went for the first time last year before MVMCP and enjoyed it - the character interaction is FAB! I went to the restroom and when I got back, Chip was IN MY SEAT chatting to DD! Got a wonderful pic of that!

Liked the experience so much, we're doing the same thing this year before MVMCP!

Thanks Tartanfan
I wonder if they will pour some boiling water on some Bisto granules for me if I take my own :p
It sounds good to me, but there is no way that DH would eat it without gravy and mint sauce ( I'll have to take that too ), and he hates broccoli - maybe I should of made ps elsewhere
Its my birthday though, and I really fancied the LTT character dinner.

The veggies change on a regular basis. One time it was snow pea pods, one time it was some kind of cabbage concoction, and most recently, cubed root veggies (sounds nasty, but was very, very good!)

LTT has become a must for every trip. We've never had the dinner, my boys aren't much into the character thing, so lunch is perfect for us. We've never made a P.S. there yet, and always get right in (then again--we go during the off season.)

Also--we've never tried anything else but the Pilgrim's Feast which is turkey, dressing, mashed spuds, gravy and a veggie.

And their rolls w/apple butter are awesome!
