Hi all,

I am looking at sit down restaurants in magic kingdom for an up coming solo trip and have been keen to book either Liberty tree or diamond horseshoe. However as they are both all you can eat type meals I am slightly concerned on the portions for dining alone. Do you think these two are good options? Or are there any other places with the same type of comfort food in magic kingdom?

Thanks

They are the same menu ~ but I am sure the kitchen has predetermined amounts of food per person. If it is not enough then you just ask for more.

The Plaza has comfort food, likely the only other place for it, with Meatloaf or Pot Roast.

The atmosphere is more classic at LTT and Diamond Horseshoe feels more like overflow. Ask for a table on the side in one of the smaller rooms

I have done Liberty Tree solo numerous times. They scale the portion size down for 1 person. Plus you can always ask for more of something.

The portions at diamond horseshoe were enormous for me. I was there Monday. 3 different meats, mash potatoes, stuffing and Mac n cheese, salad, bread and then dessert. All decent, nothing to write home about.
