I just got an ADR for the Liberty Tree Tavern on September 30 at 6:15 (it was the last one). About how long should I expect to be in there? About an hour? I don't want to miss too much of the Halloween party, since this will be my first one, but I really wanted to enjoy a character dinner before the party. It'll just be me and my boyfriend attending. Do you think there's any chance I could be seated earlier if we checked in about 45 minutes early?

Is there something special that happens as soon as the party starts that I wouldn't want to miss? I'm not too worried about getting a ton of candy or anything. I just don't want to miss fireworks or any special shows.

Is there a set schedule for every MNSSHP night? Will there be two parades every night?

We have 5:30pm reservations there also. It's our first MNSSHP, too (jusy DH and me on the 21st). I would say about an hour, maybe a little more. I hear they are pretty fast paced there, except when it comes to getting the bill...

I am banking on last years parade/fireworks schedule.
8:15pm & 10:30pm - Parade
9:30pm - Hallowishes

I don't think there is a "big" opening to the party. But here is a PDF of the map from last year. Straight from the DIS!

Have fun!!!

If like last year, they close the park to general public and open to the party at the same time, you will be happy to be in the LTT at start time of the party. :) Main Street was such a mad house it took us about 30 mins to get back to Tomorrowland from the entrance of the park. :scared1:

I'm not sure how early they will seat you. I'm sure it just depends on the crowd. I would think 6:15 would be a good seating time. They really do hustle in most of the restaurants. I think how long it takes you will depend on if you do or do not want to see all the Characters. I really don't think I have ever taken much more than an hour in a restaurant.

Hope you have a great time!

Thanks for the info about the party! I hope that having two parades is the same this year. I'd much rather go to a later one.

All of that was SO nice to hear! I was worried it was going to cut into a lot of party time, but now I'm much more relaxed and excited. I'm sure I'll have a great time, no matter what! Thanks very much!

And you can always try to show up early and get seated earlier as you mentioned. We did that last February and were seated within 15 minutes which was still earlier than our ADR. That was at the Pirate & Princess Party. There is no hoopla at the start, but if you're going to do the entire park (i.e. trick or treating, character visits, parade, fireworks, some rides, etc.) get out there early. ENJOY!

i have a question relating to mnsshp and liberty tree tavern. if i cannot get a reservation on the night i am going to the party (sept 28th), is there any chance you think i could get a walk up (2 people). i am looking to go actually right when dinner starts at 4 or 5 so i can go back to my hotel and get into my costume!

thankssss
