Want one dinner in MK. Haven't been to either. What would you prefer. We will have 4 adults and 2 children. It will be the girls first visit to the MK.

Tony's would definately be my first choice. Both are good I think Tony's is better.
Tony's - Italian
LTT-Mini Thanksgiving meal.

hungry for Italian or hungry for Stouffer's frozen foods? Tony's is Italian fare - haven't been there but it gets a fair number of good reviews.

...dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern is o.k. - it's not bad food, but not great, either. Would give it a C+ or maybe a B-. The rolls with honey butter and the dessert was the best part of the meal by far. It was a bit overpriced for what you get. It's a "thanksgiving feast" meal which means smoked pork loin (tastes just like ham), turkey (tastes like a good processed turkey roll) and beef (this was good) and Stouffer's mac & cheese. Also get a salad, veggie, stuffing, rolls and dessert. But it's a set meal, you don't get to choose what you want off a menu. Can get 2nds on anything you want. We ate there last year during Free Dining...had cute characters then. But since there is no more characters we just don't think the mostly-processed food there is worth the cost.

If you're looking for a lighter meal (sandwiches), try The Plaza. It is a table service restaurant also...has very good philly steak sandwich, very good reuben too. And you can choose one of the wonderful ice cream concoctions for dessert like the brownie sundae, or banana split.

I would pick Tony's first but would not discount the LTT. The food at LTT is truly comfort food and after 10 days of the Disney Diet some old fashion mashed potatos, meat, etc tased good!

The bigger problem is the lack of sit down options inside of the MK and the choices as compared to EPCOT and the Boardwalk Resort area. The Wave at the CR was a good improvment and a great use of dark dead space. But the kids selecitons there are very poor in terms of portion and choices.

We went to Tony's last year for our DD 7th birthday! All of enjoyed our meals. Like the atmosphere also, we sat out on the glass enclosed porch!

We have eaten at both. Lunch at Tony's was very good. We had dinner at LTT before MNSSHP and it was very good, but that was in '01 and our first trip so they probably could have served us grool and it would have been the "THE best grool I have ever had!!"

There are no really great eating choices in MK. Having said that, Tony's is better than LTT.

We have been to Tony's three times and have always enjoyed the food...the menu at LTT doesnt do it for us

We are having lunch at Tony's this year (first time) and am looking forward to eating there. But, we will also be eating at LTT, a favorite for all of us! I am sorry but, IMO, the food is very good!!! We have almost eaten there every year since 1996.

I haven't been to either, but we chose the Plaza for our MK day (lunch). I scoured all kinds of WDW boards, and Plaza has the best reviews, highest rating, and highest percent of referrals and returns on each one.

We went to Tony's before and enjoyed it. Each trip we try to split our dinners between places we have been to before and trying new ones. So, we are going to LTT, we haven't been before, but our family does love Thanksgiving dinner, so I think we will like it.
