Liberty Bell pin

How many of you will not (did not) get to the DS to pick up one of these pins? I picked up a spare. I also picked up a pretty silverplated frame from JCPenney that they were giving out today. I'm counting on honesty here. For those of you that respond that didn't/can't get one of these, post here. I'll take the names tomorrow and have my son pick one randomly. Then whomever is selected will get both the Liberty Bell pin as well as the frame. I'll give everyone until tomorrow afternoon to respond, and the winner will be notified (hopefully) before I go to bed tomorrow.

I didn't get one ... I work 12-8 PM (lucky me ). I was also told that TDS here weren't giving them out. If you have one, I'd love to get one ...

I was/am unable to go to the Disney Store today. I am helping my brother out w/his children all week while he is out of state in training, and unfortunatly, between his kids and mine we don't fit in the car LOL.

I went yesterday, but the policy had changed. I ended up having all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled this morning. As you can imagine I am in serious pain, and more over can't drive a car due to the medicne they gave me to knock me out for the operation. If anyone has an extra one, I would love it. I only collect patriotic and lilo & stitch pins anymore. If I don't get one, not a big deal, just thought I could add it to the other patriotic pins and frame them.

I went to my local TDS tonight with Richie to get a pin for myself and a pin for him. The CM that I know, who knows about all of you on the boards because I am always sharing some of the best stories with her about you all gave me some extra pins and said "give these out to your friends on the pin board who don't get them."
So, I have some pins and will be happy to GIVE them to anyone who needs one with one stipulation. You keep it for yourself, and when you wear it you say a prayer for those who died on 9-11.
So Ashley, pick one person and give your pin to her. I have 4 pins that I would love to share with as many of you as I can. Ashley let me know who the lucky person is that wins your pin and I will put the rest of the names in a hat for one of the 4 that I have here. Peggie

Too neat! Thanks Peggie! I was trying to be different since I know folks work and can't always be the next person to post. I'll print out names tomorrow while my son is at school and have him choose as soon as he gets home.

I want to thank you all for your generosity. My fiancee just got home and after class he RAN to the disney store (got there at 8:57)and got me one. Talk about being spoiled when I am sick. Thanks for your very nice offer.

SueEllen, I was told by a friend of mine that works at a Disney Store that all of TDS employees will receive one. Check with your manager, she probably is holding it for you!

I am running an international junior tennis tournament. We did have a 9/11 dedication and put our flag at half mast. One of our umpires sang God Bless America. It was very moving.

Since this was exactly what I was doing last year...I wanted to be with the players....I didn't feel right leaving to go to the Disney Store. I am sure it is a lovely pin. Maybe someone will let me see it at the pin event ?

I wore my red, white , and blue ribbon with pride today.

I was unable to get to my store to get one either. I tried on the 10th as I heard that originaly some stores were giving them out then. I spoke with a cm that knows that I collect pins and asked how they were giving out the pin. She told me that NO STORE was giving them out until the 11th and it was because "The COLLECTORS ruined it". I was very offended because that was uncalled for. I was not able to get to the store on the 11th because of our schedule. Oh well just wanted to vent. Thanks for doing this.

They were with the paychecks the previous week. I was still out on leave during the week that the check was for, so one didn't get put aside for me.
