LGMMH: noun, acronym (colloquial) = Lime green Mickey Mouse Heads-- displayed on your person or your backpack at Disneyland, indicates that you are a member of the DIS boards. Available as paint chip samples at Home Depot, by the Disney theme paint display. :thumbsup2

Hey, I stopped by Home Depot on 99 in South Everett yesterday looking for some storage containers, and remembered (finally!) to look for some LGMMHs. I thought it was kind of funny that there were plenty of each of all the other colors, but there were only 4-5 LGMMHs (in the color "alien green"). Just another proof to me that there are a lot of you guys around here!

Never knew these existed! I'll check out Home Depot if I have time before we leave!

Do you know if they have them at Lowes?

Which department in Home Depot?

Pfft, never mind. Would help if I'd read Gail's entire post. LOL

Check the downtown Home Depot. They have a zillion:). I took a few different colors for scrapbooking, too.

p.s. I feel like this was a bigger deal on the WDW forums than on the DL forums.

Come to Tacoma, or rather University Place...that Home Depot always has many. :)

Lowe's doesn't sell the same kind of paint, so while I'm sure you can find a plain lime green paint chip there, it won't be Mickey-shaped.

And if you come down this way, let me know!

Hi Gail!
That is the store where I get mine! That's probably where they all are:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You should have just let me know you needed some...

 Well, Pppfffhhhtt! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

No, no, I got one. There were several, I was just amused that there were only a few where the other colors probably had 15-20 each. I also grabbed 10 others in other colors, so I could do a week by week countdown calendar! 9 weeks today till we leave! :woohoo:

The Home Depot in Federal Way by Costco has lots of them, I grabbed a few last weekend.

shhhhh sweet avalon, shhhhh, we don't need to hasten my birthday...

But... but... that's why we're celebrating, aren't we? :confused3 We go to DL to celebrate Molly's birthday!

Listen, girl, my birthday is in September *waves her Virgo cleaning supplies under Bumbershoot's nose* and I'm gonna be 44. I had a doctor in July refer to me as "middle aged" and I nearly spit on him. :lmao:

Mercy, girl! 44! You are still just a young whipper snapper! (I just turned 46)

Wait til they start sending you AARP stuff. That'll make you spit big time!

My DH is 53. We were at a local Grandy's earlier this summer and one of the punk kids asked him if he wanted his senior discount! He did not like that one bit! Luckily, as it turns out their senior discount begins at 55 but we still got a good laugh at the look on DH's face.

I got my LGMMHs from a generous Disboarder since there is no Home Depot locally. If it hadn't been for her I'd probably be making up some "fake" Mickey heads from flourescent green poster board. Thank heavens I don't have to bear the burden of shame of having the wrong color green!

are you talking about the home depot on the corner of 128th and 99? hmmm...if so, i guess i'll have to go look for my LGMMHs at another home depot!

I didn't know about the LGMMH's. I'll have to go snag some at HD (issaquah or redmond, hopefully one of them has them). Ironically I already have some in other shades of green, as I'm trying to decide what color to paint our upstairs (Winnie the Pooh) themed kid's bathroom! I love the idea of snagging some for a countdown calendar. My 3 1/2 yo will love that.

That the closest Home Depot to me too! I'll have to swing by soon to get one. If there any left be then.:)

Wow! There are an awful lot of us claiming that the Home Depot on 128th and 99 is the closest to us!

Me too!

I know. Isn't that funny! And my husband thinks I am sort of an anomoly, being such a Disney fan. If he only knew!! We should have a mini meet at the Home Depot and do an official raid!

I actually bought paint there to paint our house this summer. I asked the guy that was mixing my paint if he noticed that he was refilling the paint chips for any particular Disney color more than others. He was completly clueless. He laughed when I told him about the lime green mickeys.

I'm still on the fence on whether I should pick up some of these--see, I don't have a car, so I can either (1) embarrass myself by asking my bf to drive me there--with the insane gas prices in Seattle or (2) take the bus.

Maybe I'll wait until I visit my parents in Puyallup. I think they would be more amminable to the LGMMH--anyone stopped by the Home Depot in P-town?

Oh yeah and lots of locals around here lately!
