Just got my LOA yippee!!!

It all reads fine, I just have one question were having an escape wedding and having a private reception and illuminations dessert party, so will be meeting the $7500 minimum spend (no problem all worded correctly). We have to pay a deposit of $1500 - $1000 deposit and $500 will be held for extra charges, if there are no extra charges this will be refunded following the wedding. What would be classed as extra charges? I am sure wishes brides have to pay something similar??

Thank you!!!

for a Wishes wedding they hold $1000 for any charges that may occur on the actual day of the wedding. I'm sure that's the same for your $500. If there are no additional charges the day of the wedding then they will mail you a check a few weeks later.

We are having an Escape Wedding also and the 500.00 can be used for things such as last mintue extra guests-up to five, bringing total to 25, any extra beverages that are consumed during the Cake Cutting Ceremony, e.g.-we are having four bottles of champage, but catering is bringing five plus orange juice for mimosas, and that extra will be billed on consumption, so things such as that. I have never heard of anyone having any problems getting the "extra money" deposit back after the wedding.

If you get the time, where and when is your Wedding? Have a happy day!:goodvibes

Aaaah that makes sense to me - and actually is really handy for drinks as we were thiking of doing mimosas too!:thumbsup2

Were getting married 9th December at the Yacht Club Gazebo :goodvibes

I will be in a similar position to you as I am having an Escape with private dining events and will need to meet the $7500 minimum. I have no problem about sending $1500 with the LOA but am concerned that Disney will start asking for the balance 90 days out (like for Wishes brides) and not 30 days out as it is for Escape brides. Does it say on your letter?

Good, I would have to be more organized with money if it was 90 days out!!!
Thank you

What a great time of year-every where will be decorated!
:
Ours is Oct. 10 @930 am-hence the orange juice with the champagne. Never feel as guilty about drinking before 11 am so long as there is juice invovled!
