I'm trying to decide on a car rental company to go with after I disembark at Port Canaveral. I'm not really sure what's best and thought a thread with people's opinions could be very helpful to me and others. (I could not find a similar thread- sorry if one exists!) Please vote and post a quick response about your experience. Thanks!

There are tons of threads on different care rental companies but if you want to post a poll that is fine...you will get tons of different answers. I voted other as I have used them all at one time or another and each time is different. You can have a bad experience at any of them on any given day. I have had wonderful experiences at all of them as well.

Will be interesting to see the results.

I've used several different companies, and tend to base it on price as the differences are small. However, my top pick is Budget because they are close to the terminal and run 2 shuttles on cruise days....that adds up to faster turn around time than some of the others.

We've had really good luck with Budget, and I usually can search the internet and find a promo code to pay around $40 for a mid-sized SUV, which is perfect for the 4 of us with our large amount of luggage. :)

I like Budget there a lot, but it is my preferred car rental choice to begin with. I did have one issue with the shuttle once. Dropped the family off, returned to drop off the car. Waited at least 10 minutes for the shuttle to return, if not longer. Asked and told it would still be a bit. Saw the Avis shuttle arrive across the street and ran over and boarded it for the trip back. For some reason, I felt guilty.
