I usually like Black and Decker, but the last two have had minor problems. They hold up and are great overall. They toast and cook well - no problems there.
Both have had areas that get hot and it easy to burn yourself on - the area around the handle or where you reach in. The newest one is hard to keep clean. The crumb tray is awkward and very shallow leaving too many crumbs in the bottom of the oven. Hope this helps! Just some things to watch for when you pick one out!(I wish I had spent more time looking at details)
My toaster oven is pure evil.
I hate it. It was bought less then three months ago, and everyday I look for ways to "accidently" drop it to justify a new one.
It is a Black-n-Deckey convection.
I will see if I can find the model number
I bought a very basic Black and Decker about a year ago. It's held up great and cooks very well. We don't use it for heavy duty stuff, just single servings of tator tots or warming things that don't re-heat well in the nuke box. DH doesn't like the way it toasts bread so he still uses our pop-up toster for toast.
I have an Oster and I love it! It big enough to put a frozen pizza in it! We use it everyday-toast, bagels, frozen items, breadsticks, waffles, oh I could go on and on. I even bake cookies and small chix and roasts in there. Did I tell you I love my toaster oven? Oh and it a convection toaster oven if that helps!

I just bought this one - I think and I love it. It was just on sale at Target for $58. We packed it up and took it on vacation with us. We used it to make pizza, appetizers and toast. I have to admit We have not used the "convection" function but it does everything I need it to and it was not too heavy to take on vacations.

The toaster function.
I can not figure it out.
I am either burning things, or undertoasting.
I have to stand right next to it in order to have edible toast.
It does to a quick and succesful job on all the other functions.
I have a Cuisinart with Exact heat and since I HATE turning on my oven, this thing ROCKS. Cooks thoroughly and fast, even my kids can use it! I'd recommend it to anybody.
I love it, and we use the heck out of it. The best thing about this one is that it can do a 12" pizza. It's the only one I've found that is big enough to do that, but still small enough to fit under my cupboards. Besides pizza, we use it for waffles, chicken nuggets, french fries/tater tots, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, scones, Texas toast, small casseroles, and reheating leftovers (I don't do microwaved food).
